Hi Bloggers.
My daughter, Kathryn, has just started a blog (not a crafty one). If any of you would like to go and have a look then you'll find it at http://cat-gotyourtongue.blogspot.co.uk/
I've had a request for me to share a card made with the Vintage Car Pre-Cut Stamp. I made 2 cards with this stamp so I don't know if this is the one that's wanted or not.
I stamped the Vintage Car using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Black Detail Embossing Powder. I stamped the sentiment below it, again using Perfect Medium and embossed with the Black Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Grand Decorative Labels One and inked through the die with Black Soot Distress Ink using Cut n Dry Foam.
I cut the next but one of the Grand Decorative Labels One dies and after embossing, left the card in the die. Using the stamp in my hand I randomly stamped the A6 Newsprint Stamp and the A6 Plaid Stamp using Black Soot. I made sure that the edges of the die were cleaned of ink and that the stamped areas were dry and then inked through the die with Black Soot.
I layered the two Labels die cut on top of one another with 3d foam and added some Black/Ivory Grosgrain tied in a knot.
Let me know if this isn't the right card.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.

Hi Julia, Lovely male card. I had the Grand Decorative Labels die at the top of my list when I went to the NEC yesterday. Hardly any Grand dies there, either they had sold already or C & C had them all. I was very disappointed, but still have them to look forward to. Will miss you on the telly this week :-)SueL
ReplyDeleteMorning Julia, super card, very versatile as a change of colour would make it perfect for a lady passing her driving test or in same colours for a gent. Perfect for Father Day though.

What a beautiful card absolutely super I love it, where would we all be without your's and Sue's inspiration.
Kathryn should be up here in Cumbria with all our snow, she would have a great time with her camera. At the moment the snow drifts are just asking to be photographed.
