Birthday Wishes

Hi Bloggers.

Sue takes over on the Pick of the Week again today with shows at 12noon (2 hours), 4pm and 6pm. Hope you can tune in.

Here's today's card -

I stamped the Perfect Poppy Single Stamp using Perfect Medium and embossed with Silver Cosmic Shimmer Detail Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders 5 x 7 Elegant Labels 4 and inked through the die with Stormy Sky Distress Ink using Cut n Dry Foam.

I stamped the sentiment (it comes with Poppy Stamp) again using Perfect Medium and embossed with the Silver Detail Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Die D-Lites Petite Labels 1 and inked through the die with Stormy Sky.

I cut the largest but one of the Grand Stately Circles out of Coconut White Card. After embossing I left the card in the die. With the stamp in my hand I randomly stamped the Chicken Wire Stamp using Stormy Sky Distress Ink. I repeated the process with the Art Collage Stamp (more stock due in soon) using Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. I blotted the excess ink away with some kitchen roll making sure there was no ink still on the die and then inked through the die with Stormy Sky.

I cut the largest of the Grand Decorative Labels 1 out of Pastel Blue Card. Again, I left the card in the die after embossing. This time I inked through the Knitted Mask at the corners using Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and then inked through the die with Stormy Sky.

I tied a bow using 2 lengths of White Sheer Wrinkled Edge Ribbon and added a Fancy Pearl Embellishment.

Thanks for stopping by.

Julia.

  25. Hi Julia, Lovely, lovely card. What a marathon you had yesterday. Hope you've got your feet up today ready for the week ahead. I will be watching (and most likely buying). Deleted previous post as finger slipped and published prematurely, that's what happens when trying to watch Sue and type at the same time! SueL

  33. Love those Grand Decorative Labels. Think I will have to invest. Can I ask if Spellbinders do a Grand decorative die in a rectangular shape?? Keep bringing us the ideas - much appreciated.
