Hi Bloggers.
Here's todays card -
For the background, I ran a piece of Coconut White Card through the Grand Calibur with the Heart Lattice Embossing Folder.
I stamped the sentiment from the Uplifting Thoughts Stamp Set onto Periwinkle Card using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Shine Detail Embossing Powder. I stamped one of the Mini Elegant Frames onto Coconut White Card using Perfect Medium and embossed with Silver Shine Detail Powder. I stamped the Flower Twist Stamp onto Periwinkle Card, again using Perfect Medium and embossed with Silver Shine Detail Powder. I cut them all out using Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics B but I embossed first before cutting as the die cuts usually pop out of the die as they're cut and oftem move when you emboss them.
I cut 2 Couture Creations Lotus Filet out of Coconut White Card. I trimmed them so that together they fit behind the Flower Twist Frame. I fixed them together and added them to the background. I wrapped a piece of White Crochet Ribbon around to hide the join.
I made a couple of flowers out of White Crochet Ribbon and cut a couple of leaves out of Periwinkle Card using Sue's Faux Quilled Leaves Die.
I assembled the card as shown adding some White Pearls to the corners and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Cosmic Pearl around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.
