Have you Heard the News?

Hi Bloggers.

Here's today's card -

Easy peasy card.

I used Sue's Scribble PVA technique on the panels - Silver Lustre. Olympic Gold and Black Pearl.

The background is the Creative Expressions Checkerboard PinPoint Embossing Folder.

The image is from the Justrite Just Typed Clear Stamp Set - stamped in Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder.

The sentiment is from the same stamp set, again stamped with Jet Black Archival and embossed with Clear Powder. Cut out using Justrite Vintage Labels 8. I drew around the outside of the die onto Black Card to cut out a faux nestie.

I assembled the card as shown adding a Black 8mm Pearl to each corner and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Black Pearl Pearlescent PVA around the edges.

Thanks for stopping by.

Julia.

  17. Morning Julia and everyone, oh I so like this card, it reminds me ( not the same) of the typewriter I learnt on all those years ago, I have this stamp and have not used it yet, so you have given me some ideas. I hope everyone is enjoying themselves on this unfortunately wet bank holiday. Stay safe, healthy and happy, June Smith xx

  21. Hi Julia. I like this typewriter and hate it at the same time. Takes me back to the row of typewriters at the college where I learned to type and they had taken off the letters so we didn't look down at the keys, just repeated "asdfg" etc etc. Lovely card though.
