Hi Bloggers.
Here's today's card -
For the background, I stamped all over a piece of Periwinkle Card with Perfect Medium using one of the sunflower images from the Justrite Stitched Sunflowers Vintage Labels 8 Clear Stamp Set.
I stamped the sentiment from the Justrite Celebrations Sentiments Clear Stamp Set using Cobalt Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I cut it out using a Justrite Vintage Labels 8 Die and inked through the die with Stonewashed Adirondack Dye Ink.
I stamped the frame from the Justrite Stitched Sunflowers Vintage Labels 8 Clear Stamp Set using Cobalt Archival, embossed with Clear Powder, cut out using another Justrite Vintage Labels 8 Die and inked through the die with Stonewashed Ink.
I cut one of Sue's Decorative Frames B Dies from the Californian Collection and inked through the die with Stonewashed Ink.
I made a flower out of Blue/White Grosgrain Ribbon and cut a couple of Faux Quilled Leaves out of Coconut White Card.
I assembled the card as shown adding some White Pearls to the corners and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Summer Blue around the edges.

Hi Julia,
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card today in my favourite colours! I love the sentiment too and your lovely flower . Sue's leaf dies are so versatile and I use the California Collection dies a lot as well. Believe it or not I just finished the blog hop about an hour ago! We were away, had a nightmare journey home etc etc! Going to watch your shows which I've recorded when I get some peace tonight! I liked yesterday's card very much but Saturday's was gorgeous.
Thanks Julia for all your hard work?
Love Myra
Hi Julia. Love all your cards, but the periwinkle ones are gorgeous. Been into a craft shop today and they were selling the cards they had made from kits, decoupage, etc. You make yours from scratch and totally knock spots off theirs. SueL x
