Merry Christmas

Hi Bloggers.

Here's today's card -

For the background, I ran a piece of Milk Card through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Mini Poinsettia Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design. I inked around the edges with Cosmic Shimmer Crimson Kiss Colour Cloud Blending Ink using a Smoothie.

I cut a frame out of Vintage Gold Card using Sue Wilson's Double Pierced Rectangles - I actually embossed it first as the dies like to pop out when cut, I also added the Gradient Mask to give some texture.

I cut the Merry Christmas Flourish out of Rich Red Card.

I cut the Couture Creations Hanging Ornaments Die out of Rich Red Card twice and added them to the bottom of my frame.

I cut the pine sprig from the Couture Creations Conifer Frame Die Set out of Coconut White Card. I used a Clear Perfect Medium Pen over the area at the base of the cone and added Clear Perfect Medium from the Pad to the top of the cone. I then added Cosmic Shimmer Dark Bronze Lustre Embossing Powder and heat set. I added more ink, more powder and heat set again. I used the pen again to add ink to the foliage around the pine cone and then used the pad to add ink to the rest of the foliage. I added Cosmic Shimmer Golden Green Sparkle Embossing Powder and heat set. I added more ink, more powder and heat set again.

I assembled the card as shown adding some Cream Pearls and piercing around the edges using my Tim Holtz Ruler, Precision Probe and Piercing Mat.
