Moments with You

Hi Bloggers.

I did the draw for the blog candy yesterday afternoon. It hasn't been claimed yet - please check the previous post to see if you're the winner.

Here's today's card -

Another easy peasy card.

The background is simply a piece of Coconut White Card run through the Grand Calibur with Sue's Cascading Hearts A4 Embossing Folder. I mounted it onto Rich Red Card and then wrapped a piece of Champagne Silky Crush Ribbon around the centre.

I mounted one of the card panels from the Heartfelt Creations Antiquity 12 x 12 Paper Pad onto some Rich Red Card. I stamped the circlular sentiment from the Heartfelt Creations Moments with You Stamp Set using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder .I cut it out using Spellbinders Standard Circles Large and inked through the die with Aged Mahogany.

I made a flower using the Heartfelt Creations Sweet Juliet Die Set and added it to a bow made with 2 lengths of Champagne Silky Crush Ribbon.

I assembled the card as shown adding an 8mm Black Pearl to each corner and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Black Pearl around the edges.

Thanks for stopping by.

Julia.

  20. I love the card, including the flower, though I think the flower dies are expensive for what you get. Perhaps that's just me.

    1. Don't forget the Heartfelt Creations have to pay for Spellbinders to make their dies so it stands to reason that they would be more expensive. I think you need to ask yourself how much you would use a die - if the answer is a lot then they're good value for money.

  24. Hello Julia

I was delighted to have my email read out on Sunday's tool shed and so pleased you liked the photo of my card. Sadly not successful with the draw but hey - you can't have it all. A bit like all the goodies on the show! My favourite has to be the postcard stamp which I will be adding to my vast collection at some stage and I also loved the key stamp and dies too. I always look in on your blog but will try and leave a comment more often. Thanks for all your inspiration you give me. X
