It's all change with my shows this weekend. On Saturday and Sunday I'll be launching some brand new Couture Creations products (times in left hand sidebar of this blog) and my Heartfelt Creations shows have been moved back a week to Sunday 24th November. All this is subject to change of course!
Here's today's card -
Simple, quick & easy Christmas card today.
For the background, I ran a piece of Cobalt Card through the Grand Calibur with the Spellbinders Holiday Magic M-Bossabities Folder. I rubbed some Enchanted Gold Gilding Wax over the surface.
I stamped 3 of the images/sentiments from the Justrite Oh Holy Night Stamp Set using Cobalt Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I cut them out using Spellbinders Heirloom Ornaments 2013 and inked through the die with Faded Jeans Distress Ink.
I ran some blue/white Baker's Twine down the card to each bauble and added a bow tied from 2 lengths of the same twine.
I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Olympic Gold around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.

Good morning Julia, well I hope it will be for you and all the Wattsonettes ! Thanks for replying to my S.O.S email regarding your blog, so here I am hoping to start blogging. WOW is all I can say about todays card, simple but striking and totally stunning, a card that is bound to stand out from all the others friends and rellies receive. Ive hit a very BIG brick wall, as need 50 odd cards made and ready by 22nd Nov ready for a sale and lost my mojo, with only a Big Shot, 3 spellbinder dies, of which non are Christmas themed ! no JR stock stamps or dies, and no spare cash for stash ! Card making has moved on with tools and creativity but Ive stood still ! Roll on birthday and Christmas as my 'wish list' is full of craft ideas ONLY !! :) so, after my waffle, all I can say that I can take this wonderful card and try and re-create something similar with what I do have (somehow) ! I cant wait to watch your great shows again Julia, what with no Sue and no Julia I've been chomping on the bit ! SB and CE show's are NOT the same without our ladies. Right Mrs Watts, lets see if your e-mail was right : )
ReplyDeletetake care everyone. Hugs to you Julia.
