Mum

Hi Bloggers.

Here's today's card -

For the back background, I ran a piece of Milk Card through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Celebrate Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design. I rubbed Blush Gilding Wax all over. Once dry, I inked around the edges with Victorian Velvet Distress Ink.

I stamped the Justrite Floral Flourishes Background twice using Victorian Velvet. I cut it down into 3 panels and popped some Raspberry Card behind each one.

I stamped the image and the 'MAGNOLIA' stamp from the Spring Flowers Stamp Set using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I coloured in using Pink Ultra and Golden Pear Mica Powders from the Cosmic Shimmer Garden Flora Mica Spray Set. I cut it out using Spellbinders Scalloped Labels One and inked through the die with Victorian Velvet. I cut a Spellbinders Captivating Square out of Raspberry Card.

I stamped 'Mum', again using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Clear Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Labels 28 and inked through the die with Victorian Velvet. I cut a Spellbinders Floral Oval out of Raspberry Card.

I assembled the card as shown adding a Pearl Swirl, some Cream Pearls in the corners and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Vintage Pink around the edges.

Thanks for stopping by.

Julia.

  19. Good morning Julia,
What a beautiful bouquet of cards you have been making with all the flower stamps although the raspberry is a bit bright for me, but making a smaller rim of it would still work.
    Love and crafty hugs
