Hi Bloggers.
Here's today's card -
This is one of those cards where you'll need to try and zoom in to see the image & the sentiment.
I used Milk Card on this one. For the background, I inked through the Argyle Mask with Victorian Velvet Distress Ink using Cut n Dry Foam. I then ran it through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Hyper Magical Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design and inked around the edges with Victorian Velvet.
I stamped the image from the Justrite Floral Vintage Labels Two Stamp Set using Perfect medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Sunrise Pink Lustre Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Justrite Vintage Labels Two Dies and inked through the die with Victorian Velvet. I popped some Double Sided Self Adhesive Sheet onto some card and cut the Heartfelt Creations Decorative Lattice Swirl Dies (don't emboss if doing this). I peeled off the backing and rubbed in some Rose Copper Polished Silk Glitter.
I stamped the sentiment from the Justrite Vintage Banners Clear Stamp Set using Perfect Medium and embossed with Sunrise Pink Lustre. I cut it out using Justrite Vintage Label and Banner Dies and inked through the die with Victorian Velvet. I cut one of the Justrite Vintage Labels Four Dies from some card with DS Adhesive on it and added Rose Copper Polished Silk Glitter.
I assembled the card as shown adding some Cream Pearls and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Vintage Pink around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.

ReplyDeleteI really think the background on this card is amazing. I do live those dies, but find then a little fragile, I don't think they are going to bend or break but it feels like, they might. Lovely card.

Morning Julia
ReplyDeleteA really beautiful card I love it, the colours are great and your background as always so interesting, I could see fine without zooming, you will be pleased to know. I love the way you make us think about using dies in different ways and as always your instructions are wonderful to follow, thank you.
Margaret
Hi Julia. Lovely card, the floral image is so pretty, that set is on my wish list! Take care.
ReplyDeleteGood morning Julia,
ReplyDeleteI love the lily stamp that you have used, it is so beautiful that i would be getting out my colouring pens or pencils to do the different shading to it. Stamps are the grown up versions for us that enjoyed colouring books as a child i think.
Have you noticed that the lattice die that you have used would make a very nice butterfly, or reminds me of a caterpillar, but that could just be my wandering imagination. ( i'm one that see's pictures in the flames, and clouds etc) so imagination normally works on overtime.
But getting my brain back on track here, it is a lovely card Julia, Thank you for inspiring us again.
love and crafty hugs
Norah
