Hi Bloggers.
This card was a demo last Friday -
For the background, I ran the Couture Creations Compassionate Embossing Folder through the Grand Calibur with some Coconut White Card. I ran it through a second time to extend the pattern and then inked around the edges with Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink using Cut n Dry Foam. I wrapped a piece of White Crochet Ribbon and a piece of Sky Blue American Seam Binding around the centre.
I stamped the large stamp from the Creative Expressions Artsy Floral Stamp Set using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Tropic Aqua Blaze Embossing Powder from the Brights Set. I cut it out using Spellbinders Wavy Rectangles and inked through the die with Chipped Sapphire. I stamped the co-ordinating flower from the Creative Expressions Whimsical Floral Stamp Set 3 times using Perfect Medium and embossed with the Tropic Aqua Blaze Powder. I cut them out with scissors, trimming a little extra off one of them, and inked with Chipped Sapphire.
I stamped the sentiment from the Artsy Floral Stamp Set using Perfect Medium and embossed with the Tropic Aqua Blaze Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Resplendent Rectangles and inked through the die with Chipped Sapphire.
I tied a bow using 3 lengths of the American Seam Binding. I spritzed it with some water, scrunched it up and dried it. I added a Medium Square Dazzler to the centre.
I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in White Pearl around the edges.
I have the card that I made in the Studio to give away as it was the other card that I made that was sent out to the viewer who's email was pulled out of the Watering Can of Wonder. So, if you would like it, leave a comment on this post. I will draw a winner on Sunday evening (20th Jan).
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.

Morning Julia, wow this is a beautiful card, love the colours and the design! Watching your demos was a real inspiration - I bought a set of these embossing powders but haven't tried them yet. Having a craft day today so looking forward to the opportunity to experiment. I don't usually find I have great success with words & sentiments when using embossing so hoping this works out as good for me as yours have!!
