Thank you for all of your birthday messages yesterday - so many! Kathryn came to visit on Friday till later today so I have had a lovely few days. Yesterday Kathryn, Nathan & I went out for a lovely lunch and then Kathryn and I hit the shops mainly getting her stuff for her 3 1/2 month stint in France starting next week.
Yesterday we reached 1200 followers! At last I can do a draw for the candy. But, instead of just picking a name from the list of followers at random and then no one claiming it, I will draw a name at random from those who leave a comment on today's post. I will post the winner Thursday lunchtime.
Here's today's card -
Ornate Frame Mask on two sides using Dusty Concord Distress Ink. This mask is really versatile as you can use just sections of it to change the look you get. My card was wider than the mask so I missed out one of the little motifs top and bottom and moved my mask from one side to the other. You can also use the little motifs as corners or just use a flourish on its own. I ran it through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Small Dots Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design and inked around the edges with Cool Peri Adirondack Dye Ink.
Decorative Frames Die Set from the Italian Collection and inked through the die with Cool Peri.
White Pearls in the corners and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Cosmic Pearl around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.
