Back from a great day at Inspirations yesterday. Lovely to see so many crafters there.

Here's today's card -

For the background, I simply ran a piece of Coconut White Card through the Grand Calibur with the Creative Expressions Checkerboard PinPoint Embossing Folder.

I popped a little Peacock Cosmic Shimmer Shimmer Paint onto my Craft Sheet. I picked some paint up onto a piece of Cut n Dry Foam and 'inked' up the Justrite Fleur Twist Backgound. I stamped the background twice (inking up inbetween each stamping). I cut 3 panels and mounted onto Teal Card.

I stamped the sentiment from the Justrite Doily One Stamp Set using the Peacock Paint. I cut it out using Justrite Vintage Labels 7 Dies. I cut a Justrite Filigree Layers Die out of Teal Card.

I changed the colour of a piece of White Crochet Ribbon using Peacock Paint applied with Cut n Dry Foam. I did this on both sides of the ribbon. Once dry, I cut it down the centre and made a couple of flowers. I made another flower out of the White Crochet Ribbon. I cut some Faux Quilled Leaves out of Teal Card.

I assembled the card as shown adding some White Pearls in the corners and some dots of Cosmic Pearl Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA around the edges.

Thank You So Much

I'm at Inspirations in Preston today demoing some Christmas stamps and masks and other goodies. If you're in the area, please stop by.

Here's today's card -

For the background, I started by stamping the Justrite Iron Swirls Background on the right hand side of a piece of Coconut White Card using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Lagoon Lilac Aurora Embossing Powder.

I popped a little Azure Cosmic Shimmer Shimmer Paint onto my Craft Sheet. I picked some paint up onto a piece of Cut n Dry Foam and 'inked' up the Justrite Fleur Twist Background. I stamped this on the left hand side of the card. I ran a piece of Vintage Ribbon in Limoges Blue along the join in the backgrounds.

I stamped the image from the Justrite Butterflies Stamp Set using the Azure Paint. I cut it out using one of the dies from Sue's Italian Decorative Frames Die Set and inked through the die with Stonewashed Adirondack Dye Ink.

I stamped the sentiment from the Justrite Doily Stamp Set using Azure CS Shimmer Paint. I cut it out using Justrite Vintage Sentiment Tag Dies and inked through the die with Stonewashed Ink.

I tied a bow using 4 lengths of Limoges Blue Vintage Ribbon. I added some White Pearl String and a White Crystal Sparkler.

I assembled the card as shown adding some White Pearls to the corners, some White Mini Pearl Swirls and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pastel Blue PVA around the edges.

Love the Simple Things

Tracey has asked me to let you know that are a couple of spaces left on both of my workshops at Creative Expressions HQ in Kettering on August 5th. Details are in the left hand sidebar of this blog if you're interested in finding out more.

Here's today's card -

For the background, I ran a piece of Milk Card through the Grand Calibur with the Creative Expressions Floral Brocade PinPoint Embossing Folder. I popped a little Bronze Cosmic Shimmer Shimmer Paint onto my Craft Sheet and picked some up using Cut n Dry Foam. I rubbed this over the surface to highlight the embossed design. I wrapped a piece of Cream Crochet Ribbon around the centre.

I stamped the Justrite Sculpted Leaves background using Gold, Bronze and Rich Oak Cosmic Shimmer Shimmer Paint. I used Cut n Dry Foam to apply the paint, starting with Gold in the centre, then Bronze either side and then Rich Oak at the top and bottom. It's important to work fast as the paint dries quickly. Most of the paint will come off the stamp with a Grime Boss.

I stamped the sentiment from the Justrite Rose Bouquet Vintage Labels 7 Clear Stamp Set using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Gold Detail Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Justrite Vintage Labels 7 Dies. I stamped the little flourish from the Justrite Butterflies Stamp Set top and bottom of the die cut using Rich Oak CS Shimmer Paint. I edged the die cut with a little Gold CS Shimmer Paint.

I cut 2 Justrite Vintage Flourish Two Dies out of Ginger Card and added then to the right hand corners of the background.

I tied a bow using Cream Crochet Ribbon and added a Bronze Vintage Button.

I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Vanilla PVA around the edges.

I'm heading up North this afternoon as I'm demoing at Inspirations in Preston all day tomorrow. Maybe I'll see some of you there.

Sweet Dreams

Here's today's card -

For the background, I ran a piece of Milk Card through the Grand Calibur with the Creative Expressions Checkerboard PinPoint Embossing Folder. Using a piece of Cut n Dry Foam, I picked up a little Gold Cosmic Shimmer Shimmer Paint from my Craft Sheet and rubbed it over the surface.

I stamped the image from the Justrite Butterflies Stamp Set using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Gold Detail Embossing Powder. I cut it out using one of the dies from Sue's Decorative Frames Die Set from the Italian Collection and inked through the die with Scattered Straw Distress Ink. I stamped the sentiment from the Justrite Doily One Stamp Set several times using Gold Cosmic Shimmer Shimmer Paint. I inked around the edges with a little of the Gold Paint.

I cut a Justrite Heirloom Flourish Two out of Milk Card and inked through the die with Scattered Straw.

I made some flowers out of Gold Tulle using Sue's Classic Rose Die Set and following the technique she demonstrated when she did the Weekender on Create & Craft last month. I cut a couple of Faux Quilled Leaves out of Milk Card.

I assembled the card as shown adding some Cream Pearls and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Vanilla PVA around the edges.

Here's today's card -

For the background, I ran a piece of Coconut White Card through the Grand Calibur with the Creative Expressions Rows of Bows PinPoint Embossing Folder.

I stamped the image from the Justrite Doily One Stamp Set using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Persian Sea Aurora Embossing Powder. I placed a piece of Creative Expressions Double Sided Adhesive Sheet over the image and cut out using Spellbinders Adorning Squares. I did not emboss. I removed the cover sheet and added Cosmic Shimmer Diamond Sprinkles.

I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set, again using Perfect Medium and embossed with Persian Sea Aurora. I added a piece of Double Sided Adhesive Sheet over the top and cut out using Justrite Vintage Sentiment Tag Dies. I removed the cover sheet and added Cosmic Shimmer Diamond Sprinkles.

I tied a bow using Blue Satin Edged Organza, added some White Pearl String, a couple of White Pearl Decorative Stick Pins and a White Crystal Sparkler.

I assembled the card as shown adding a White 8mm Pearl in each corner and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pastel Blue PVA around the edges.

Shows today on Create & Craft

I have shows today on Create & Craft at 12noon on the Toolshed for 2 hours - this one is with Sue Wilson, and at 5pm. Hope you can join us.

I have a 3-fer for you today to try and show you the versatility of the Justrite Heirloom Flourish Two Die. I used it one way on yesterday's post. There are some ideas on the Justrite Stampers Blog here which is where I found inspiration for the cards on today's post.

Here's the first card -

The background is a piece of Coconut White Card run through the Grand Calibur with the Creative Expressions Rows of Bows PinPoint Embossing Folder. I inked around the edges with Stonewashed Adirondack Dye Ink.

I stamped the image frome the Justrite Butterflies Stamp Set using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Lagoon Lilac Aurora Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Marvelous Squares and inked through the die with Stomewashed Ink.

I cut 4 of the Justrite Heirloom Flourish Two Dies out of Periwinkle Card and inked through the die with Stonewashed Ink. I cut a square Spellbinders Die and positioned the Heirloom Flourish Two Die Cuts with removeable tape. I placed the image die cut on top and when happy with the layout secured with 3d Foam Pads.

I finished the card off by adding some White Pearls and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pastel Blue PVA around the edges.

Here's the second card (please don't tell me you don't like pink!) -

For the background on this one, I ran a piece of Coconut White Card through the Grand Calibur with the Creative Expressions Floral Brocade PinPoint Embossing Folder. I inked around the edges with Pink Sherbet Adirondack Dye Ink.

I stamped the image from the Justrite Butterflies Stamp Set using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer True White Detail Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Sue's Decorative Frames Dies (from the Italian Collection) and inked through the die with Pink Sherbet Ink.

I popped a Spellbinders Classic Squares Small inside a Spellbinders Captivating Squares Die and cut out from some pink card. I inked through the die with Pink Sherbet. I cut 4 Justrite Heirloom Flourish Two Dies and inked through the die with Pink Sherbet. I glued them to the frame as shown.

I assembled the card as shown adding some White Pearls and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Cosmic Pearl PVA around the edges.

Here's the last card -

For the background, I ran a piece of Coconut White Card through the Grand Calibur with the Creative Expressions Checkerboard PinPoint Embossing Folder.

I stamped the image from the Justrite Doily One Stamp Set using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Gold Detail Embossing Powder. I covered the image with a piece of Double Sided Self Adhesive Sheet. I placed a Spellbinders Classic Squares Small Die over it and die cut. I peeled off the covering sheet to reveal the adhesive and added Iced Snow Cosmic Shimmer Glitter Jewels. I cut a Spellbinders Classic Squares Large Die out of Vintage Gold Card.

I cut 4 Justrite Heirloom Flourish Two Dies out of Vintage Gold Card and secured them at the back of the square die cut with Cosmic Shimmer Dries Clear Glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Justrite Rose Bouquet Vintage Labels 7 Clear Stamp Set using Perfect Medium and embossed with Gold Detail Powder. I added a piece of Double Sided Self Adhesive Sheet and cut out with Justrite Vintage Labels 7 Dies. I removed the covering sheet and added some Iced Snow. I cut a Justrite Vintage Tag Die out of Vintage Gold Card.

I cut a piece of Gold Tulle, knotted it and trimmed it. I tied a bow using White Crochet Ribbon and added a White Crystal Sparkler.

I assembled the card as shown adding some White Pearls in the corners and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Cosmic Pearl PVA around the edges.

As promised here's a sneak peek from tomorrow's shows. It features one of our new PinPoint Embossing Folders. We're very excited about these!

 So, the background is our new Floral Brocade PinPoint Embossing Folder run through the Grand Calibur with a piece of Coconut White Card and then inked around the edges with Stonewashed Adirondack Dye Ink using Cut n Dry Foam.

I stamped the Justrite Sculpted Leaves Background onto Periwinkle Card using Perfect Medium and embossed with True White Detail Embossing Powder. I inked around the edges with Stonewashed Ink and matted it onto a piece of Cobalt Card. I stamped the image panel from the Justrite Rose Bouquet Vintage Labels 7 Clear Stamp Set, again onto Periwinkle Card using Perfect Medium and embossed with True White Powder. I cut it out using Justrite Vintage 7 Dies and inked through the die with Stomewashed Ink. I cut 2 Justrite Heirloom Flourish 2 Dies out of Coconut White Card and inked through the die with Stonewashed Ink. I used these to 'hold hands' with the Vintage Labels 7 die cut. I popped this on top of the Sculpted Leaves Background with 3d Foam.

I made 2 flowers out of White Crochet Ribbon and cut a couple of Sue's Faux Quilled Leaves out of Cobalt Card.

I assembled the card as shown adding some White Pearls in the corners and some dots of Pastel Blue PVA around the edges.
