Hi Bloggers.
Here's today's card -
Slightly different style of Pixie Powder background on this one. I used a piece of Watercolour Card. I popped a little Candy Pink, Sun Yellow and Peacock Green Pixie Powders in separate areas on my card. I spritzed with water and then blotted off with Kitchen Roll. Once dry, I cut out using Sue Wilson's Double Pierced Background Rectangles. I stamped the sentiment from the Woodware Birthday's Galore Stamp Set using Onyx Black Versafine Ink. I cut the next sized die in the set out of Black Card and popped onto a Coconut White Card blank.
I cut some flowers out of Watercolour Card using Sue's Perfect Peony Complete Petals. I misted the centres of some with Candy Pink and Some with Sun Yellow Pixie Powder. I cut some leaves out of Coconut White Card using Sue's Laurel Leaves. I completed my card by adding an 8mm White Pearl to the centre of each flower.
Thanks for stopping by.

Just For You
Hi Bloggers.
Here's today's card -
I started by dusting a piece of Coconut White Card with an Anti-Static Bag. I stamped one of the leaves from the Woodware Ferns Stamp Set randomly using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with CS Grape Crush Brilliant Sparkle Embossing Powder. I inked all over with CS Decadent Grape Colour Cloud using a Smoothie. I matted onto Black Card and popped onto a Coconut White Card blank.
I stamped one of the butterflies from the Woodware Mosaic Butterflies Stamp Set onto Coconut White Card using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with CS Black Detail Embossing Powder. I coloured in with a mix of products. I used Seedless Preserves Distress Crayon from Set 2 (I popped some crayon onto my Craft Sheet and picked the colour up with a Water Brush). I lightened the colour by mixing a little CS Candy Pink Pixie Powder with the crayon. I darkened the colourby mixing a little CS Pewter Pixie Powder with the crayon. I cut the butterfly out. I shaped it and glued the body section only to my background. I drew the antenae in using a Black Pigma Micron Pen.
I stamped the sentiment from the Justrite Deco Sayings Stamp Set onto Coconut White Card using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with Grape Crush BS EP. I trimmed it and inked with CS Decadent Grape Colour Cloud. I matted onto Black Card and popped onto my card using CE Mounting Cushion.
Thanks for stopping by.

Freebie Friday
Hi Bloggers.
Here's this week's card that needs a new home. It's a demo card from my last Woodware One Day Special.
I've used a different mask to emboss the dress on the one that's on offer but you can read how the card was made here.
Leave a lovely comment below to go into the draw to win it. I will announce the winner on Monday. Be sure to pop back to see if you have won.
Please note : Only comments left below will go into the draw. Comments made on the original post will not count. Information given on the original post was correct at the time that post was published.
Just to let you know that Distress Oxides are back in stock on my website (for now). Ranger are struggling to keep up with demand on these. The stock at CE disappeared in less than an hour! I have no idea when there'll be any more so if you have your eyes on some, grab them now! You can find them here.
I've just received stock of Wild Rose Studio stamps and paper packs. Wild Rose Studio are a lovely UK company producing high quality products with beautiful hand drawn images. You can find them on my website here. Below are just 4 of the stamps - gorgeous cute images.
Thanks for stopping by.

Hi Bloggers.
I thought I would share the media board project that Lisa showed on her One Day Special today -
I covered a Media Board, rectangular panel and stand (from the same set) with CS Sweet Violet Chalk Cloud using a Smoothie. I let it dry and then added a second coat. Once dry, I inked through the Matrix Mask onto the Media Board with CS White Clouds using a Smoothie. I added a little White Pen around the edges of the mask pattern.
I dusted the rectangular panel with an Anti-Static Bag and stamped the Woodware Cosmos Flowers with Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with CS True White Detail Embossing Powder. I stamped the sentiment from the Woodware Celebrating You using Clear Perfect Medium and again embossed with True White Detail Powder. I coloured in using Dina Wakley Scribble Sticks (waiting for stock of those) and a Water Brush.
I added a strip of Double White Pearls top and bottom. I added CS Glue around all the pieces and CS Crystal Chips. Once dry, I glued the rectangular panel in place and popped onto the base.
Thanks for stopping by.

Chalk Clouds
Hi Bloggers.
I thought I would spend today's post telling you a little more about the new Cosmic Shimmer Chalk Cloud Inks.
Chalk Clouds are a new Pigment based blending ink. They come in the same tub as the popular Colour Cloud Blending Inks. As the name suggests, they are a chalk ink so can be seen on Black Card creating a fabulous chalk board effect - ideal to use with Phill Martin's Chalkboard Essentials Collection. You can stamp with them, ink through your dies with them, paint with them and create fabulous backgrounds with them.
The background on yesterday's card was stamped using Chalk Clouds. In this post, I'll show you a couple more samples I've made using them.
I stamped the Woodware Cosmos Flowers and sentiment onto Coconut White Card using Jet Black Archival. Using a Smoothie, I popped some Blue Lagoon Chalk Cloud onto my Craft Sheet. I used a Water Brush to pick up the ink and colour in the flowers. I popped some Terracotta Chalk Cloud onto my Craft Sheet and used this to colour the centre of the flowers. I used Sweet Apple Chalk Cloud to colour the leaves. I edged the piece with Blue Lagoon using a Smoothie and matted onto Black Card.
I matted a piece of patterned paper from Sue Wilson's Elegance 8 x 8 Paper Pad onto Black Card. I wrapped some Black Satin Ribbon and Guipure Lace around it and then popped onto a Coconut White Card Blank.
I completed my card by adding a 5mm Black Pearl to each corner.
Here's a background with the inks -
I've stamped the Woodware Long Tall Flowers Stamp and the sentiment onto Coconut White Card using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with CS True White Detail Embossing Powder. I added 3 colours of Chalk Cloud using Smoothies - I used Blue Lagoon, Misty Grey and Sweet Violet. I used a piece of Kitchen Roll to rub the excess ink off the embossed lines. I then misted some water into my hands and clapped over my piece to create water splats. I poppped a new piece of Kitchen Roll over to stop the water moving further.
I bleached out some of the colour from the flowers using watered-down bleach in a Water Brush.
I cut out using Sue's Double Pierced Background Rectangles and cut a mat out of Coconut White Card using the next sized die in the set. I popped onto a Coconut White Card blank and added some 5mm White Pearls.
I hope you've enjoyed this glimpse of what you can do with the Chalk Clouds.
Lisa Horton is continuing with her One Day Special on Hochanda today with shows at 9am, 12noon, 4pm and 7pm. I'm offering 10% discount on items I have from the shows. You can find them here. Offer applies till midnight tonight or while stocks last. Discount will be applied at checkout.

Portraits
Hi Bloggers.
Lisa Horton is launching a new One Day Special on Hochanda this evening at 8pm with stamps and stencils designed by her other half, Danny McIntosh. I've already featured some of these stamps here on my blog and there have been some sneak peeks fom Danny and Lisa over on Facebook and now finally they have their day on tv. I love them and I hope you do too.
I have a simple card for you today featuring a couple of Danny's stamps and a new Woodware Background stamp.
For the background, I inked up the new Woodware Travel Background with 3 colours of new CS Chalk Cloud Inks (available on my website now - fabulous inks. Love, love, love them!) using Smoothies. I stamped onto Coconut White Card. I cut out using Sue Wilson's Double Pierced Essential Rectangles and edged with one of the inks used.
I then stamped the lady the the text stamp from the Portraits Stamp Set using Onyx Black Versafine Ink.
I popped onto a Black Card mat and then onto a Coconut White Card blank.
I thought I'd remind you of some of the cards that I've made with these stamps (I have 3 of the 7 sets to use). Lisa has most of them so you may see them on the shows.
I'm offering 10% discount on items I have in stock from the shows. You can find them here. Offer applies till midnight tomorrow night or while stocks last. Discount will be applied at checkout.
I'm heading up to CE HQ this morning to run a workshop so an early start for me.
Thanks for stopping by.

Wonderful
Hi Bloggers.
Here's today's card -
I started by popping some Scarlet Mist and Plum Twist Pixie Powder onto a piece of copy paper. I rubbed the Woodware Paris Collage into the powder. I misted the stamp with water and stamped onto a piece of Coconut White Card. Once the image was dry, I inked around the edges with Soft Cerise CS Colour Cloud using a Smoothie. I cut out using Sue Wilson's Pierced Essential Rectangles and poppd onto a Black Card mat. I wrapped a piece of Grape Fuchsia Sheer Iridescent Ribbon around it, tied a bow and added a little Craft Consortium Key Charm
I misted a little water into 2 areas of my Craft Sheet. I added a little Scarlet Mist Pixie Powder to one area and Plum Twist Pixie Powder to the other. I picked the pixies up onto 2 separate pieces of Cut n Dry Foam. I used one to ink through areas of the Boomerang Mask onto Coconut White Card. I used the other to fill in the gaps. The mask is a repeating pattern and my card was larger than the mask so I moved it down and repeated the process to extend the design. Once dry, I inked around the edges with Soft Cerise Colour Cloud and matted onto Black Card. I popped onto a Coconut White Card blank.
I popped a little more of the Pixie Powders onto my copy paper and rubbed the sentiment stamp from the Woodware Celebrating You Stamp Set into it. I spritzed with wter and stamped onto Coconut White Card. I trimmed and matted onto Black Card.
I completed my card by adding a Small Black Circle Dazzler to each corner.

With Love
Hi Bloggers.
Here's today's card -
I dusted a piece of Heat Emboss Acetate with an Anti-Static Bag. I stamped one of the images from the Woodware Little Black Dress using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with CS Black Detail Embossing Powder. I cut the dress only out taking care not to cut into the embossed lines - I left a little of the stand so I had something to hold.
I turned the acetate over and added Quickie Glue to the bodice. Once the glue was clear, I added CS Black Onyx Polished Silk Glitter and tapped off the excess. I added Quickie Glue to the waistband. Once the glue was clear, I added CS Sparkle Star Polished Silk Glitter.
I added Quickie Glue to the skirt. While I waited for the glue to go clear, I mixed a little Black Onyx and a little Sparkle Star Polished Silk Glitter in a separate pot. Once the glue was clear, I added Black Onyx, then my mix of glitters and then Sparkle Star.
I stamped the dress and stand onto Coconut White Card using Versafine Ink. I added a little Antique Linen Distress Crayon from Set 3 to my Craft Sheet. I picked it up with a Water Brush and painted the stand.
I stamped the sentiment from the Woodware Deco Sayings Stamp Set using Versafine Ink. I cut out using an outer die from a Sue Wilson Striplet Die Set. I matted onto Black Card and onto a Coconut White Card black.
I trimmed off the excess acetate from the dress and glued it to the stand using Quickie Glue.
Jane Gill has made some lovely samples with the Little Black Dress Stamp Set -
I love Jane's doodles on the dresses 😊
