Dinky little Christmas Cards

Hi Bloggers.

I'm running a workshop locally just outside Milton Keynes today. They're fun days!

I have 2 dinky little Christmas Cards for you today - really easy to make, inexpensive, quick and really cute! Actual proper cards too!

Here's the first one -

So, I started by making a card blank out of Coconut White Card using the rectangular die from Sue Wilson's Christmas Scene Mini Background Die Set by placing one of the outer cutting edges outide the fold of the card. I used the same outer die, cut it out of Black Card and glued it to the card blank. I used the same die again with the next decorative die out of Coconut White Card and glued this to the Black mat using Cosmic Shimmer Dries Clear Glue.

I cut the circular die out of Black Card. I cut the same die with the next decorative die out of Coconut White Card and glued this to the Black mat. I used 3D Foam to add this to the card.

I stamped the sentiment from Phill Martin's Christmas Sentiments Collection using Jet Black Archival.

Job done! You could do this in any colour, add some Creative Expressions Double Sided Self Adhesive Sheet and Glitter or Glitter Jewels, whatever you want. Little little card measures just 3 1/2" x 2 3/4". Perfect for batch making, children's class cards and just really cute!

Here's my 2nd dinky card -

This time, I used the outer die from the Poinsettia Mini Striplet to create a card blank out of Milk Card. I cut both the dies in the set together out of Rich Red Card. I finished off by stamping the sentiment inside from the Creative Expressions Peace on Earth Stamp Set using Vermillion Archival.

This card measures just 5 1/4" x 1 3/4". You can use any of the Festive Striplets this way.

Both these cards could also be made landscape.

Thanks for stopping by.

Julia.
