Hi Bloggers.
Hope you joined in with the Blog Hop yesterday. It runs until Tuesday so if you haven't already taken part start at the Creative Expressions News Blog here to find out how to join in.
Here's today's card -
Easy Peasy! You just need to be patient waiting for the paste to dry on this one.
For the background, I spread some Apple Red Cosmic Shimmer Sparkle Texture Paste through the Ornate Frame Mask and put aside to dry.
I stamped the sentiment from the All Occasions Sentiments Stamp Set using Perfect Medium and added Cosmic Shimmer Gold Detail Embossing Powder (I did not heat set at this point). I stamped one of the Scrollwork Frame around the sentiment using Perfect Medium, added Gold Detail Powder and heat set the lot. I cut it out using Spellbinders Classic Squares Small and inked around the very edges with Barn Door Distress Ink. I cut a Spellbinders Luscious Labels One die out of red card.
I made a flower out of Ivory/Red Striped Grosgrain and cut a couple of leaves using Sue's Faux Quilled Leaves Die Set.
Once the texture paste was dry I inked around the very edges of the card with Barn Door Distress Ink.
I assembled the card as shown adding some Cream Pearls and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Berry Red around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.

Lovely card. I have not been a fan of the wide striped ribbon bows, however like how it looks as a rose.

ReplyDeleteWOW - this is stunning with the red texture paste - must try adding red ink with the Aurora Sparkle - could be interesting! Do you think the Shimmer Paint would work with the Aurora Sparkle? The mask is a must buy too - off to look at your Amazon store!
Enjoyed the Blog Hop yesterday - lots of fantastic inspiration ready for some rainy days!
Bye for now.

ReplyDeleteHi Julia,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! I love that paste! The red will be lovely at Christmas time as well. As will the white, gold and silver tones! It is so easy to do - I lifted the mask of expecting a mess the first time and it was lovely!
Did some hopping yesterday! A first for me but I really enjoyed seeing all the different ideas.
