Hi Bloggers.
I'm off to Creative Expressions HQ today and tomorrow to learn a new craft! That's all I'm saying so don't ask me to tell you more! A tease, I know, sorry!
Here's today's card -
For the background, I inked through the Rosette Mask with Stonewashed Adirondack Dye Ink. I moved the mask along the card to extend the design. I then ran it through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Thinking of You Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design and inked around the edges with Stonewashed Ink.
I stamped the Taylored Expressions Mixed Blooms image onto Periwinkle Card using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer True White Detail Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Floral Ovals and inked through the die with Stonewashed Ink.
I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set, again using Perfect Medium and embossed with True White Powder. I cut it out using one of Sue's Decorative Frames (Set B) from the Californian Collection and inked through the die with Stonewashed.
I made a flower from Blue/White Striped Grosgrain Ribbon following Sue's tutorial here. I cut 2 leaves from Periwinkle Card using Sue's Fern Trio Die Set.
I assembled the card as shown adding some White Pearls to the corners and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pastel Blue PVA around the edges.
I'll be back tomorrow with a sneak peek from Wednesday's shows.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.
