Hi Bloggers.
Here's today's card -
For the background, I inked up one of the stamps in the Justrite Confetti Trio Background Set using CS Colour Clouds in Decadent Bamboo, Sun-Lit Cedar and Natural Rosewood applied using Smoothies and stamped at the bottom of a piece of Coconut White Card.
I edged the piece with Sun-Lit Cedar Colour Cloud and matted on to Black Card.
I inked a piece of Coconut White Card with the same 3 Colour Clouds, laying the ink in bands. I used this to cut the decorative dies and their outer dies in Sue Wilson's Maldives Die Set, some leaves from Sue's Autumn Leaf Trio Die Set and flowers from her Cape Daisy Die Set.
I cut dies #4 and #6 from the Maldives Die Set and glued the coloured die cuts in place. I stamped the sentiment from Phill Martin's Scribbled Frame Sentiments Stamp Set onto Coconut White Card using Jet Black Archival and cut it out using die #2 from the same die set. I stacked all the layers using Mounting Cushion.
I cut the corresponding open leaves out of Black Card to match the solid leaves I cut from the Colour Clouded using the Autumn Leaf Trio Die Set. I made my flower and added a centre of Coconut White Card cur using the Cape Daisy Die Set and added a Small Black Circle Dazzler.
I assembled the card as shown adding some 5mm Black Pearls to the top corners and piercing around the edges using my Tim Holtz Ruler, Precision Probe and Piercing Mat.
I will be trying to get as many website orders out this morning as I can. Those that don't make it out today will be posted on Monday. I'm really sorry for the delay. I was hoping to get some packed when I got home last night but I was feeling a little under the weather - just think I'm over tired, nothing more serious.
I'm off up to Nottingham tomorrow to demo at Phill Marin's new Nottingham Store along with the man himself, Chloe Endean and John Lockwood. We're demoing 10am till 4pm if you're in the area.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.
