Happy Christmas

Hi Bloggers.

A card made from left over bits today - with a contemporary feel.

For the background, I spritzed a piece of Watercolour Card with water. I then sprinkled Peacock Green and Golden Mint Pixie Powders over and put aside to dry.

Once dry, I stamped the Creative Expressions Florentine Background Stamp using Vermillion Archival. I trimmed it and added to Rich Red Card and then added it to a Milk Card blank.

When we get our sample dies to work with, sometimes they come with card still in the die. My Sue Wilson 2016 Angel die came with card in it so I used it on this card.

I cut Sue's Contemporary Happy Christmas Die out of Rich Red Card and added it to my card.

I had a lovely holiday but my Mom had a little stroke while I was away and I'm heading up there today to see her in hospital. We are hoping that she'll be allowed home in the next few days. I managed to get a few orders posted out yesterday but please be patient with me - I will try to get them all out by end of Monday.

    Sorry to hear about your mum - you've had a lot of concern with your parents of late.
    Love this card - I made several with this stamp last year and none this so must give it a go. Pixie powders look great used with this stamp.

    You've managed to do something quite different with Sue's dies here. The overall feel is Christmas in a softened way. By that I mean the Angel and sentiment are not backed giving them a lighter feel. They still manage to stand out on the pixied backdrop of CE Florentine background stamp perfectly.

    It sounds like your Mum may have had a mini stroke. I wish her all the best for a speedy recovery. She is lucky to have such a caring daughter. Pleased you enjoyed your beading.
