I made this card at our playdate on Saturday -
For the background, I spritzed a piece of Watercolour Card with water then sprinkled Burnt Orange, Straw Yellow and Pale Olive new Autumn coloured Pixie Powders (watch out for my One Day Special with these on November 30th!). I put it aside to dry.
Meanwhile, I stamped the Spellbinders Home Sweet Home Stamp onto Coconut White Card using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with CS Silver Shine Detail Embossing Powder. I tapped a little of the Pixie Powders that I used in my background into separate wells in a Palette and made them into paints using my Waterbrush. I used them to colour in my design.
Once dry, I cut out using the largest die in the Spellbinders Renaissance Vine Die Set. I cut the die again, out of Black Card and used this as a shadow, offsetting it behind the sentiment die cut.
Once my background was dry, I ran it through the Spellbinders Platinum Machine with the Spellbinders Rose Tablecloth Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design. If I'd had a sanding block with me, I probably would've sanded it to make the emboss show up. However, you can just make out the texture in this photo.
I pulled out the Spellbinders Itty Bitty Blossoms Die Set (haven't used that in a while!). I cut a leaf pair out of Black Card and made 3 flowers out of Silver Shine Pearl Card.
I assembled the card as shown adding some 8mm White Pearls to the corners of the background and piercing around the edges using my Tim Holtz Ruler, Precision Probe and Piercing Mat.
