Wow! You guys did some buying yesterday! We were all sold out an hour after my 9am show ended so the 4pm show was cancelled. Sorry if you were disappointed but if there's nothing left to sell then there's no show. I was pleased that I didn't have to wait for hours before the show was cancelled.
Here's today's card - I'm afraid it looks a bit incipid in the photos but it is really pretty in real life.
Cosmic Shimmer Garden Flora Mica Spray Set and the edges of the flowers with a mix of Pastel Pink and Pastel Orange Watercolour Paint from the Cosmic Shimmer Pastels Set. I also went aroung the outside edges of the whole image with a very weak dilution of Blue Lace Matt Drawing Ink from the Soft Velvet Set. This should help the image pop a bit - again it's easier to see in real life.
I stamped the image a second time and this time cut it out with scissors. I went around the edges with a black marker pen to hide any white bits. I coloured the leaves using the Pearl Green Mica Powder. Although I was going to add some dimensional flowers, I still went around the edges of these flowers with the Pastel Pink/Pastel Orange mix just in case my flowers did not cover the whole area. I added this to the original image using 3d foam.
I stamped the Heartfelt Creations Vintage Morning Background Stamp onto some paper from the the Heartfelt Creations Majestic Blooms Paper Pad using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I cut all 12 flowers out using the Heartfelt Creations Majestic Blooms Die. I shaped some of the flowers and stacked them on top of one another securing with Cosmic Shimmer Dries Clear Glue. I popped them on top of the image and then popped them on top of the image. I added a little Champagne Stickles to the centre of each flower and a Pearl Swirl either side of the image.
I stamped the sentiment from the Creative Expressions Everyday Expressions Stamp Set using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Rectangles and inked through the die with Dried Marigold and Victorian Velvet Distress Ink.
Thanks for stopping by.
