Sweet Memories

Hi Bloggers.

Thanks for all your comments and emails for the shows yesterday - I'm glad you liked the new Heartfelt Creations collections, they are really lovely.

Here's today's card -

I cut a frame out of Coconut White Card using Spellbinders 5 x 7 Matting Basics B and Spellbinders Majestic Labels 25.

I stamped the Heartfelt Creations Script Key Background onto Black Card using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder.

I stamped the image from the Heartfelt Creations Floral Keys & Locket Stamp Set using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Labels 18.

I stamped the Heartfelt Creations Burnished Key stamp using Jet Black Archival and cut it out using the Burnished Key Die. I added the corresponding key on top of the one in the image using 3d Foam.

I tied a bow using Black Crochet Ribbon. I made a flower out of Coconut White Card and felt from the Vintage Felt Pack using the Hearfelt Creations Sweet Juliet Die Set.

I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in White around the edges.

I've just noticed that we've topped the 1100 followers mark. I'll draw for the candy later today so please check back to see if you've won!

Thanks for stopping by.

Julia.

  2. Hi Julia/Juliet : ) Great card, (both you and Sue have cards made using labels 25 today:)) I love the flowers. I enjoyed Toolshed yesterday but missed the other show. Fantastic cards, you and the other ladies have been so busy. Thank you for demoing the flowers, that was a good idea. I agree that Spellbinders should have put a pictureof the finished flower on the front of the packaging. You would never guess what the dies end up as woud you! Nigel did get in a muddle with Julia/Juliet didn't he, bless him. Hope you can have a rest today. Take care.

  4. Morning Julia and Wattsonettes. Heartfelt Creations never fail to give us crafters the wow factor with every new product, thank you HC and thank you Julia for giving us inspiration and idea's for using them. Love the thought of 8x8 paper packs as those are the size I make, although just started 7x7 and love that size also. Julia, is it my weary eyes playing jokes on me - or is today's beautiful card uploaded sideways ? Maybe I should look again with my glasses on.!!!

Hope you all had a lovely weekend, and have an enjoyable crafty day.

Good luck ladies for the draw.
    Hugs all round.
