Just Because

Hi Bloggers.

Here's today's card from my recent Spellbinders shows on Hochanda -

I used a paper from Phill Martin's Decadent Damask 8 x 8 Paper Pad for the background, trimmed down a little (that hurt a bit!).

I cut the middle sized die from the Spellbinders Angle Approach Cut Fold & Tuck out of another paper from Phill's Paper Pad. I folded and tucked it and added a Brad.

I cut one of Sue Wilson's Double Pierced Squares out of Coconut White Card. I added a couple of dies from the Spellbinders Gold Squares One die set and ran them through the Spellbinders Platinum Machine.

I cut the large die from the Spellbinders Lace Doily Motifs Die Set out of the plain side of another paper from Phill's Paper Pad. I cut one of them in half and off set it behind the full one.

I stamped the sentiment from the Creative Expressions Fabulous Sentiments Clear Stamp Set onto Coconut White Card using Coffee Archival. I cut it out using a die from Spellbinders Lace Doily Accents Die Set. I cut the middle sized die from the Spellbinders 5 x 7 Reflective Moment Die Set out of the plain side of the same paper I used for the Lace Doily Motif.

I cut some corners out of Coconut White Card using Spellbinders Lace Doily Accents Die Set.

I assembled the card as shown piercing around the edges using my Tim Holtz Ruler, Precision Probe and Piercing Mat.

Hi Bloggers.

Here's today's card -

For the background, I started by randomly stamping the Justrite Harlequin Script Background onto a piece of Milk Card using Cosmic Shimmer Sun-lit Cedar Colour Cloud Blending Ink applied with a Smoothie. I then stamped the crab from the Justrite Oceanside Oval Medallion Labels Stamp Set several times using Cosmic Shimmer Crimson Kiss Colour Cloud. Using the border from the Justrite At the Beach Oval Medallion Labels Stamp Set and Cobalt Archival, I stamped along the right hand side a couple of times. I ran my background through the Spellbinders Platinum Machine with the Creative Expressions Knotted Trellis Embossing Folder and then inked around the edges with Crimson Kiss Colour Cloud. I wrapped some Bakers Twine around the background a couple of times and then matted onto Deep Blue Card. I ran another piece of Milk Card through the Knotted Trellis Folder and inked around the edges to form another of my layers.

Istamped the lighthouse from the Justrite Oceanside Stamp Set onto Milk Card using Cobalt Archival. Here's today's card -

For the background, I stamped a corner stamp from the Justrite Sympathy Vintage Labels 8 & 9 Clear Stamp Set onto Coconut White Card into 2 of the corners using Ocean Blue Cosmic Shimmer Colour Cloud applied with a Smoothie. I then ran the piece through the Spellbinders Platinum Machine using the Creative Expressions Rows of Bows PinPoint Embossing Folder.

I stamped the Justrite Diamond Filigree Background Stamp onto a strip of Coconut White Card using Ocean Blue Colour Cloud. While the ink was still wet, I brushed some Iced Blue Sparkle Powder from the Cosmic Shimmer Lovely Lights Sparkle Pigment Set over the surface (hard to capture the shimmer on camera but hopefully you could see it when I demonstrated it?). I matted the strip onto Teal Card.

Hi Bloggers.

Here's today's card which was a sample from yesterday's shows -

For the background, I misted a little water on my Craft Sheet using the mister bottle in the Cosmic Shimmer Water Brush Set. I added a little Ice Blue Sparkle Mica Powder from the Lovely Lights Cosmic Shimmer Sparkle Pigment Set to the water and mixed. I picked this up onto a piece of Cut n Dry Foam and used it to ink up the Justrite Harlequin Script Background and stamped onto a piece of Coconut White Card (by the way - this powder is a lovely green sparkle onblack card!). I edged this with Perfect Medium, dipped the edges into Cosmic Shimmer Silver Shine Detail Embossing Powder.

I stamped the feature sentiment panel from the Justrite Hope & Love Vintage Labels 8 & 9 Clear Stamp Set onto Coconut White Card using Perfect Medium and embossed with Silver Shine Detail Embossing Powder. I cut it out using the largest die in the Justrite Vintage Labels 8 Die Set.

I stamped one of the flowers from the Justrite Birthday Floral Vintage Labels 8 & 9 Clear Stamp Set onto Coconut White Card twice using Perfect Medium and embossed with Silver Shine Detail Powder. I cut them out by hand, cutting the little bud off.

I assembled the card as shown adding some 5mm White Pearls and piercing around the edges using my Tim Holtz Ruler, Precision Probe and Piercing Mat.

A True Friend

Hi Bloggers.

Here's today's card -

For the background, I cut a die from Sue Wilson's Double Pierced Squares Die Set out of Coconut White Card. I left the die in place and stamped 2 of the rose stamps from John Lockwoood's Rosebud Elements Stamp Set across the card several times using Phill Martin's Cosmic Shimmer Frosty Heather Colour Cloud applying the ink with a Smoothie. I then inked through the die with the Frosty Heather Colour Cloud.

I cut the largest die from the Spellbinders 5 x 7 Reflective Moment Die Set out of Coconut White Card and inked through the die with Frosty Heather Colour Cloud. I then cut the die cut down to make a square frame by removing the centre section.

I stamped the sentiment, also from John's stamp set, using Watering Can Archival. I cut it out using another of Sue's Double Pierced Squares out of Coconut White Card - this time I used a die from Set B, adding a couple of dies from the Spellbinders Gold Squares One Die Set. I inked through the dies with Frosty Heather.

I tied a bow using 2 lengths of Light Orchid Satin Ribbon. I inked a piece of Coconut White Card with Frosty Heather Colour Cloud. I then cut the smallest die from the Spellbinders Angle Approach Cut Fold & Tuck Die Set. I folded and tucked, added it to my bow and added a Small Circle Dazzler.

I assembled the card as shown adding some White Pearl Corners and piercing around the edges using my Tim Holtz Ruler, Precision Probe and Piercing Mat.

I'm off to spend the day with Phill and his Craftathon peeps. Anything could happen!
