Hi Bloggers.
Here's today's card -
The background is simply a piece of Milk Card run through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations My Garden Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design.
I stamped the Creative Expressions Bijou Bag using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Curved Matting Basics B and cut a Spellbinders Diamond Effects out of Black Card.
I stamped the sentiment that comes with the Bijou Bag, again using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Clear Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Curved Matting Basics A and cut another Spellbinders Diamond Effects out of Black Card.
I made some flowers using the Heartfelt Creations Posy Patch Die Set and a couple of papers from the Teresa Collins 8 x 8 Paper Pad. I cut some leaves out of Black Card using the Heartfelt Creations Classic Leaf Die Set.
I assembled the card as shown adding some 8mm Black Pearls and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Black Pearl around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.

ReplyDeleteLove the black and white card Julia thank you I would like to wish you and yours a very happy Christmas may all your dreams come true xxx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, its all so beautiful. Afternoon Julia and Wattsonettes. Had the page 'crashed' earlier ? Every other page I have book marked was fine apart from this! Odd !
ReplyDeleteAnyway, all's fine now thank goodness : )
All the handbag/purse stamps look amazing to work with, the clarity is amazing, but there again, (and I know they are not that expensive) but my mom use to say " There's nothing in cheapness) and she was so right. Some stamps are a little over my budget as are the dies, but you know you are getting nothing but quality in ALL the 'toy's you bring to us Julia. The flowers look even more beautiful die cut from the papers.
I love mono, so classie looking, Mr Lancashire always says that black seems a 'weird' colour to use on a card - HUH, what does HE know : )
Anyway, it really is lovely and thank you Julia for helping so many of us via your blog. I so look forward to sharing another year with you, your samples and the most lovely Wattsonettes ever.
Love n hugs all round.
