Hi Bloggers.
Here's today's card -
This is a dinky little card.
For the background, I coated a piece of Coconut White Card with Clear Perfect Medium. I added CS True White Detail Embossing Powder (I did not heat set). I then sprinkled over - CS Sea Turtle Brilliant Sparkle Embossing Powder, CS Blue Steel Mica Flakes and CS Aurora Hexagons Glitter Jewels. I used a Woodware Clip-It Tool to hold it and heat set from below, moving the tool as necessary.
I stamped the sentiment from the Woodware Warm Fuzzy Greetings Stamp Set using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with Sea Turtle BS EP. I added to my background using CE Mounting Cushion and popped onto a Coconut White Card blank.
Easy peasy but really effective 😊
I'm launching a One Day Special on Hochanda next Monday (22nd) with Sue Wilson's Stained Glass Window Collection. If you have these dies, have made cards with them and would like for them to be shown TV, I would love it if you would send them to me. I need them by Saturday 20th May. Make sure that you put your name on the back so I can give you a name check if your cards are shown. If you would like for your cards to be returned after the shows, be sure to pop your address on the back too. Please email me at juliawattscrafts@gmail.com and I'll let you know where to send your cards. Thanks in advance 😊

Woodware One Day Special Shows continue today
Hi Bloggers.
One Day Special shows continue today at 9am, 12noon, 4pm and 7pm. I hope you can join me.
I have another two-fer for you today.
Here's your first card -
I started by misting a piece of Coconut White Card with PM CS Vintage Blue Ink Spray Mist through the Droplets Mask. Once dry, I stamped it with sentiments from the Woodware Celebrating You and Sweet Mermaid Stamp Sets using Watering Can Archival.
I dusted with an Anti-Static Pad. I added Clear Perfect Medium down the left-hand side and a little at the bottom. I added CS Gold Detail Powder then sprinkled over some CS Fools Gold Brilliant Sparkle Embossing Powder, CS Antique Gold Mica Flakes and CS Aurora Hexagons Glitter Jewels. I carefully heat set from below, adding more powders, mica flakes and glitter jewels as desired.
I trimmed, matted onto Black Card and then onto Coconut White Card.
I stamped the mermaid from the Woodware Sweet Mermaid onto Coconut White Card using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with CS Gold Detail Embossing Powder. I coloured her in with CS Essentials Watercolour Palette and CS Summer Garden Watercolour Palette using a Water Brush. I did not colour her scales on heer tail. I added Quickie Glue to some of the scales on her tail. Once clear,I added Sea Green CS Polished Silk Glitter. I added more Quickie Glue to more sections of her tail. Once clear, I added CS Ice Blue Polished Silk Glitter. I added Quickie Glue to the remaining scales and once clear added CS Brilliant Blue Polished Silk Glitter.
I cut my mermaid out using scissors leaving a thin white border around and added her to my background using CE Mounting Cushion.
Here's your second card -
I stamped the Woodware Les Chats onto Watercolour Card using Onyx Black Versafine Ink. I coloured in using CS Essentials Watercolour Palette and a Water Brush.
I stamped the sentiment from the Woodware Plenty of Birthdays Stamp Set using Versafine.
I dipped the end of a brush into Inky Midnight CS Acrylic Mixed Media Paint and popped some spots around my card as shown.
Once dry, I edged the card with Clear Perfect Medium by running a Clear Perfect Medium Pen along my Tim Holtz Ruler. I added CS Fools Gold Brilliant Sparkle Embossing Powder and heat set.
I finished my card by matting onto Black Card and popping onto a Coconut White Card blank.
I've loaded pics of all the samples from the shows to the Gallery Section of this Blog and to an album on my Julia Watts Crafts Facebook Page.
I'm offering 10% discount on items I have for sale on my website from the shows. You can find them here. Offer applies till midnight tonight or while stocks last. Relax & Enjoy
Hi Bloggers.
Here's today's card -
For the background, I spread some CS Clear Texture Paste through the In the Net Mask onto Coconut White Card. I removed the mask and sprinkled over some CS Phill Martin Decadent Grape Embossing Powder, CS Snowcap Brilliant Sparkle Embossing Powder and CS Fuchsia Mica Flakes. I heat set using a low speed Heat Tool. The embossing powder crackles and together with the Texture Pastes, it binds the mica flakes to the background.
I stamped the shells and the star fish from the Justrite At the Beach Stamp Set onto Coconut White Card using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with CS Black Detail Embossing Powder. I coloured them in using CS Pixie Powders in Silver Dream and Purple Violet by tapping a little into a Mixing Palette and using water from my Water Brush to mix into a paint. I made sure the paint was dry andthen cut the shells and star fish out using the Justrite At the Beach Dies.
I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set and the frame from the Justrite Congrats Card Basics Stamp Set, again using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with CS Black Detail Embossing Powder. I coloured in sections of the frame using the same two Pixie Powders. I cut it out using Justrite A2 Card Front Basics Dies and a mat out of Black Card using the next sized die in the set.
I cut 4 corners out of Black Card using Justrite A2 Card Front Basics dies.
I assembled the card as shown piercing around the edges using my Tim Holtz Ruler, Precision Probe and Piercing Mat.
Phill Martin is launching a One Day Special on Hochanda this evening at 8pm with some lovely new butterfly stamps. I'm offering 10% discount on items I have in stock from the shows till midnight tomorrow night. You can find them here. Discount will be aaplied at checkout.

More Weekend Wow Shows today
Hi Bloggers.
I have another couple of shows on Hochanda today at 11am and 3pm. Hope you can join me.
Here's today's card which I demoed in the 10am show yesterday. You can still watch on it on catch up if you wish at www.hochanda.com.
For the background, I spread some CS Clear Texture Paste through the All Stirred Up Mask onto Coconut White Card. I removed the mask and added CS Luna Silver Mica Flakes and put aside to dry.
I made a frame using Sue Wilson's Double Pierced Squares and Double Pierced Squares Set B and added it to my background once it was dry using 3d Foam Tape.
I stamped the main image from the Justrite Multi-Step Don't Forget Stamp Set using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed using Phill Martin's CS Platinum Embossing Powder. I removed the excess mica using a dry wet wipe. I cut out using the largest die in the Justrite Vintage Labels Eleven Dies - the whole image doesn't fit but that's not a problem.
I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set, again using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with Phill's Platinum Powder. I cut it out using a die from the Justrite A2 Card Front Basics Dies.
I cut the largest die from the Justrite Hello Decorative Oval Frames Dies out of Coconut White Card twice. I pressed one of them into my Clear Perfect Medium Pad, added Phill's Platinum Powder and heat set. I added more ink and more powder. Then, when I heat set this time, I also sprinkled on some CS Luna Silver Mica Flakes which became embedded into the embossing Powder.
With the other Hello die cut, I cut it in half, trimmed the split pointy bit off (see the demo) and glued to pieces to the back of the embossed die cut, off setting them slightly to form a shadow.
I embellished a pair of Sue Wilson's Laurel Leaves in the same way.
I made a scrunched up flower using 6 cuts of the smallest scalloped die in the Hello set ( I demoed this).
I assembled the card as shown adding some CS Polar White Twinkles around the edges of the image and the sentiment and adding some to the edges of the petals of the flower.
I ordered more stock yesterday including the new background stamps. You can find them and other products I have in stock from the shows on my website here. There's 10% discount on them till midnight tonight. I won't be able to do any post now till Monday. Orders placed from Thursday afternoon onwards will be posted Monday/Tuesday. Orders will be processed in the order received.
I've popped photos of the samples from the shows onto my Julia Watts Crafts Facebook Page and to the Gallery Page on this blog.
See you at 11am!
