Here's today's card -
For the background, I embossed a piece of Coconut White Card using the CE Bark Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design.
I cut one of the dies from the Stitched Hills and Clouds Die Set out of Forest Card.
I made a frame out of Coconut White Card using the Stitched Square Peg Board Die Set and added it to my background using Woodware Foam Tape. I matted onto a couple of pieces of Coconut White Card.
I cut the Majestic Tree our of Forest and Cinnamon Card, inking through the dies with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide using a Smoothie. I added some heart cut from Rich Red Card using a little die from the Bushel Basket Die Set.
I made a basket out of Cinnamon and Stone Card using the Bushel Basket Die. I inked through the dies with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide. I filled it with hearts as I thought it fitted with the sentiment.
Here's Sue's YouTube video with how to make a Bushel Basket in it -
Would you like your cards to be shown on Hochanda? I have a One Day Special on starting on Boxing Day at 6pm. It features some of Sue's Background dies. I know many of will already have some of them and wondered if you would like to lend me some of your cards?
There are 2 rules - the cards should be clean (no dirty marks) and they should only contain products distributed by Creative Expressions.
I cannot guarantee that all cards will be shown but they will definately be on set.
They do not need to be actual cards - they can just be card fronts. Be sure to pop your name on the back so I can give you credit on air whenever possible and if you'd like them returning to you, please enclose your address.
Dies being featured are - Portuguese Background, New Zealand Background, Pierced Roses Mini Background, Indian Ocean Background, Canadian Background, New York Background and Scattered Leaves Background.
If you'd like to contribute, please email me at juliawattscrafts@gmail.com and I'll let you know where to send your cards. I need them before Christmas please.
Thank you!
The winner of the card from Freebie Friday on 8th December is ..................................
