Thanks for all your lovely comments over the One Day Special. The Platinum really is a great machine.
I'm back on Hochanda on Monday with some more Justrite Stamps and Dies at silly prices. Be sure to have a look. But before that,I have Phill's Craftathon on Sunday. I know that several of you will be there so I'll see you then!
Here's today's card from the One Day Special -
Coconut White Card through the Spellbinders Platinum Machine. I rubbed Phill Martin Frosty Heather Gilding Wax over the surface and put aside to dry for a few minutes. Once dry, I buffed it up using a dry wet wipe.
John Lockwood's Rosebud Elements onto Coconut White Card using Jet Black Archival. I coloured in using Chic Aubergine and Basil Leaf Colour Cloud Blending Ink using a Water Brush (applied from ink on my mat not directly from the pot). I cut it out using scissors.
I cut the largest die in the Spellbinders Fancy Ribbon Threader Die Set together with a die from the Spellbinders Gold Squares One Die Set out of Coconut White Card. I threaded some Light Orchid Satin Ribbon in both of the sizes through the holes and slits as shown.
8mm White Pearls and piercing around the edges using my Tim Holtz Ruler, Precision Probe and Piercing Mat.
I have added my schedule for my local workshops next year to the workshops section of my blog here. You can book via my website here. As well as the regular workshops, I have added master classes in masks, stamping and backgrounds. I'll be starting the year with a big sale and demo day with myself and John Lockwood on Saturday January 9th. Venue - Yardley Gobion Silver Jubilee Hall, just outside Milton Keynes.
Thanks for stopping by.
