Hi Bloggers.
Another great day of workshops yesterday at Creative Expressions HQ. So amazed that Nan drove over 5 hours each way to attend from North Wales!
Here's today's card -
For the background, I stamped the flower stamp from the Justrite Sympathy Labels 8 & 9 Clear Stamp Set along the top and the bottom of a piece of Coconut White Card using Cobalt Archival. I inked around the edges with Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink. I popped a piece of Creative Expressions Double Sided Self Adhesive Sheet over the top, peeled away the backing sheet and rubbed Cosmic Shimmer Diamond Sprinkles Glitter Jewels over the surface.
I stamped the sentiment and the 2 floral frames from the same stamp set using Cobalt Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I cut them all out using Justrite Vintage Labels 8 Dies.
I cut the Justrite Vintage Flourish One Die twice out of Deep Blue Card.
I assembled the card as shown adding a White Pearl to each corner and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Cosmic Pearl PVA around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.

Hi Julia, this is a really beautiful card, I have these stamps just for the attention to detail on such small flowers. Can I ask as the dies are so expensive if there is one of Sue's dies that I could use in place of the VL eight? Many thanks.
ReplyDeleteX Ros
Not really. The stamps are designed to fit the shape of the dies exactly.
