Live Your Dream

Hi Bloggers.

Just a reminder that whenever I have a product that I've used in stock in my Amazon Store, you will see it highlighted in the text. Just click on it and you will go straight to the product in my store. Postage is charged at £2.90 for the first item and then 10p extra for each extra item in the same order. I'm sorry, I just cannot afford to offer you free postage. I would, if I could. Please be careful that if you order from another seller who offers free postage that they quite often increase the price of the item so if you order more than one item you may end up paying more. I do try to post same or next day depending on my work schedule.

Here's today's card -

Sorry about the wonky photo!

For the background, I popped the Lace Mask onto a piece of Milk Card and ran it through the Grand Calibur. Leaving the mask in place, I inked through it with Stonewashed Adirondack Dye Ink using Cut n Dry Foam. I then inked through one of the designs in the Floral Elements Mask in each corner, again using Stonewashed Ink.

I stamped the sentiment from the All Occasions Sentiments Stamp Set using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Pastel Blue Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Couture Creations Square Plaque and inked through the die with Stonewashed Ink. I cut a Spellbinders Majestic Circle out of Milk Card and inked through the die with Stonewashed.

I cut some flowers in 2 different sizes using Sue's Faux Quilled Blooms Die Set. I cut 3 sets of leaves using Couture Creations Ivy Die, cut them up into individual leaves and popped a couple behind each flower.

I completed the card adding Cream Pearls to the centre of each flower and in the corners of the background and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pastel Blue PVA around the edges.

I've just finalised my next set of workshops at Creative Expressions HQ, Ketteting. Tuesday August 5th - a morning and an afternoon workshop. The morning workshop is mainly mica powder based though other products will be used. Pic below.

The afternoon will be mainly Shimmer Paint based, again other products will be used. Pic below.

Each session is approx 2 1/2 hours (never exact!) and the price is £25 per session. Please contact Tracey on 01536 481778 to book a place.

Thanks for stopping by.

Julia.

  17. I love today's card and using the unusual colour of blue for the flowers Note to self - be more imaginative with colour, flowers don't have to be pink, yellow or white! Workshops are too far away for me and working too

Just to say I always buy crafty stash from Julia service is amazing. 38. Hello Julia - Well I have just won a second set of your samples on ebay - I am looking forward to them arriving - there are a couple that will be come wall-hanging gifts to friends who are fans of your work.

Sorry you felt you had to put that comment on about your Amazon site - has someone been having a go at you? I am only an occasional (private) seller on Amazon and Amazon decide the postage charges and charge a high final valuation fee.

Now to the first card - I love the small dinky blue flowers you made with Sue's die.

Now to your workshops at Kettering - they look very tempting but I had better get selling on eBay to pay for them. Fingers crossed, I can get the money together before all the places go!
