Hi Bloggers.
I'm launching a One Day Special on Hochanda this evening at 8pm with some gorgeous new stamps and dies from Justrite. (There's also a 3 stamp set bundle at a silly price so be sure to check that out - just saying!)
Here's today's card which I wanted to share as it features all the sets that are in the One Day Special bundle which includes a mega useful die set - A2 Card Front Basics Dies.
OK, so just so you know what I'm taking about - this is the A2 Card Front Basics Die Set -
You get loads in there!
Anyway, back to the card - I folded an A4 piece of Coconut White Card in half and used the largest die in the set to create a card blank by leaving one of the cutting edges outside of the die. I cut the same die again out of Coconut White Card - this will be the base layer of the front of the card (I actually glue this to the back of my card blank so that any marks from my cutting plates are hidden). I cut the middle sized large rectangle die out of Black Card and the smallest large rectangle out of Coconut White Card. This last die cut, I ran through the Spellbinders Platinum Machine with the Couture Creations Joe's Garden Embossing Folder and then inked around the edges using Abandoned Coral Distress Ink using a Smoothie.
I stamped the foliage from the Justrite Multi-Step Flower Garden Stamp Set onto Coconut White Card 3 times using Crushed Olive Distress Ink applied using a Smoothie leaving a gap between each one. I then added some flowers from the Justrite Create a Flower Garden Stamp Set using Abandoned Coral Distress Ink again applied using a Smoothie. I cut them out using the middle rectangle die in the subset in the bottom of the pic and cut 3 mats out of Black Card using the largest rectangle in that subset.
I cut the smallest rectangle in the subset out of Coconut White Card and inked around the edges with Abandoned Coral. I cut the middle rectangle out of Black Card. I cut the sentiment from the Justrite Best Wishes Sentiment Dies out of Black Card and added it to the panel.
I stamped a larger flower from the Create a Flower Garden Stamp Set onto Coconut White Card using Abandoned Coral Distress Ink applied using a Smoothie. Once the ink was dry, I cut it out using scissors. I cut a pair of leaves out of Black Card using Justrite Flower Garden Dies. I cut a pair of flowers from the same die set out of Coconut White Card. I used the pointy end of a Smoothie to ink through the dies with Crushed Olive for the leaves and Abandoned Coral for the flower heads. I added a dot of CS Cosmic Pearl PVA in the centre of the large flower and sprinkled CS Frosty Dawn Diamond Frost over it while wet.
I'm offering 10% discount on products that I
have in stock on my website from the shows. You can find them here.
Offer applies till midnight tomorrow night.
Thanks for stopping by.
