Hi Bloggers.
This is one of the demos I didn't quite finish on Monday.
So, for the background, I randomly stamped one of the foliage stamps from the Creative Expressions Dandelion Wishes Stamp Set using Stonewashed Adirondack Dye Ink onto some Coconut White Card. I dried it with my heat tool and then popped it through the Grand Calibur with the Spellbinders Elegance M-Bossabilities Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the pattern. I inked around the edges with the Stonewashed Ink using Cut n Dry Foam.
I dusted a piece of Coconut White Card with my Anti-Static Pad and then stamped the image from the same stamp set using Perfect Medium and embossed with the Steel Blue Embossing Powder from the Cosmic Shimmer Metallics & Darks Set. I cut it out using Spellbinders Fancy Postage Edge and then inked through the die with Stonewashed using Cut n Dry Foam.
I stamped the sentiment from the Creative Expressions Trees of Imagination Stamp Set using Perfect Medium and embossed with Steel Blue Embossing Powder. I cut it out using a Spellbinders Ribbon Threader die and inked through the die with Stonewashed.
I made a flower using the Spellbinders Bitty Blossoms die set and cut some leaves out of Cobalt card.
I assembled the card as shown adding some 5mm White Pearls in the top right-hand corner and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in White around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.

ReplyDeleteMorning Julia , I also watched you demo this card and I just love it. I love dandelion stamps but you've finished this card with a fab background. I have masks , but have never tried to use them in this way so shall definitely in the near future.Just a few more Christmas cards to finish first.
ReplyDeleteI need this set of stamps and the Adirondack inks but I have bought sooooo much these past few months. I'. going to use some Christmas money though so not too long to wait hee hee.
I know you love using the fab dies and I totally agree with you about needing to use them on our cards, but, you do have amazing techniques and ideas with masks and stamps that enable you to still produce fab cards with or without.
Thanks again for your fab inspiration,
crafty hugs from Julie xxx
