Hi Bloggers.
I have another sneak peek from tomorrow night's One Day Special for you today -
Another woven background - I do love them! This one has been made using only the Striped Weaving Die from Sue Wilson. I cut it twice out of Custard Card and twice out of Sky Blue Card. I glued the same colour die cuts together to make 2 dense die cuts. I left the Sky Blue one intact and cut the Custard one into sections which were 3 strips wide. Then wove the Custard pieces through the Sky Blue piece as follows -
Under 1, over 2, under 1, over 2 - repeating pattern to end
Over 1, under 2, over 1, under 2 - repeating pattern to end
I repeated the above 2 rows until the whole piece was completely woven.
I made a frame out of Sky Blue Card using dies #2 and #5 from Sue's Scalloped Lattice Frames Set B. I cut a this frame out of Custard Card using dies #2 and #3 from the same set and glued the 2 frames together. I added the frame to my background using 3D Foam Tape and trimmed away the excess.
I cut the sentiment out of Sky Blue Card using the Justrite Happy Birthday Sentiment Die. I cut dies #3 and #4 from Sue's Madeleine Die Set out of Custard Card.
I cut Sue's Star Flower Cluster out of Sky Blue and Custard Card and added 3mm White Pearls to the centre of the flowers.
I finished my card by adding an 8mm White Pearl to the corners of my frame and a Custard and a Sky Blue Mat.
Thanks for stopping by.
