Here's today's card -

For the background, I used a Justrite Stamp Set called Shabby Chic Autumn Leaves. I dusted a piece of Coconut White Card with an Anti-Static Bag and then I stamped one of the leaves from the set randomly across it using Clear Perfect Medium and added CS Clear Embossing Powder. I filled in the gaps with a postage mark stamp from the same set, again using Clear Perfect Medium, added Clear Embossing Powder and heat set the lot. I then added Sun-Lit Cedar and Natural Rosewood CS Colour Cloud Ink using a couple of Smoothies. The embossed images resist the ink. I wiped away any excess ink sitting on the embossed lines using kitchen roll. Next, I misted some water into my hands and clapped over the background. I leftit a few minutes for the water to bleach out the colour from the ink and then blotted with kitchen roll. I edged the piece with Natural Rosewood Colour Cloud and matted onto Black Card.

I stamped the sentiment from Phill Martin's Butterfly Elegance Sentiments Stamp Set onto Coconut White Card using Jet Black Archival. I cut it out using #4 die in Sue Wilson's Mauritius Die Set. I cut #4 die from Sue's Maldives Die Set out of Black Card, dies #3 and #4 together out of Coconut White Card and glued the 2 die cuts together. I cut die #6 from the same set out of Coconut White Card, dies #5 and #6 together out of Black Card and glued the 2 die cuts together. I stacked all the die cut layers up using 3D Foam.

I cut the solid die of the largest leaf in Sue's Autumn Leaf Trio Die Set out of Black Card twice. I cut the co-ordinating open leaf from the same set out of Coconut White Card twice and glue the die cuts together. I cut a piece of White Crochet Ribbon in half lengthways. I coloured it by pouncing Natural Rosewood Colour Cloud onto it using a Smoothie. I made sure it was dry, added Hi-Tack Tape and folded and pleated to create a flower.

I assembled the card as shown adding an 8mm Black Pearl to 3 of the corners and piercing around the edges using my Tim Holtz Ruler, Precision Probe and Piercing Mat.

Here's today's card -

For the background, I popped the TST Leafy Mask onto a piece of Black Card, securing with Low Tack Tape. I then spread 3 colours of Cosmic Shimmer Sparkle Texture Paste through the mask, sweeping across at an angle. I used Phill Martin colours in New Gold, Chic Pumpkin and Decadent Oak. I put aside to dry for a couple of hours. Once dry, I matted onto Antique Copper Pearl Card and then another layer of Black Card.

I stamped the sentiment from Phill's Butterfly Elegance Sentiments Stamp Set onto Black Card using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with CS Ancient Copper Detail Embossing Powder. I cut it out using #2 die in Sue Wilson's Maldives Die Set. I cut #4 die in the set out of Black Card and dies #3 and #4 together out of Antique Copper Card.

I tied a bow out of 2 lengths of Black Silky Crush Ribbon. I cut the largest die in Sue's Swirly Leaf Trio Die Set out of Antique Copper Pearl Card twice and added a Black Vintage Button.

I completed my card by adding a 5mm Black Pearl to each corner.

Had a great workshop yesterday,now to get on with my prep for my One Day Special on November 30th.

Today's card is a simple quick one - I've had the image lying around coloured for months!

I stamped the image from John Lockwood's Nasturtium Elements Stamp Set onto Black Card using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with CS Gold Detail Embossing Powder. I coloured in using CS Pixie Powders. I tapped a little Scarlet Mist and Golden Mint Pixie Powders into separate wells in a Palette, added water from my Water Brush and painted the image. I cut it out using Sue Wilson's Double Pierced Squares. I matted onto a piece of Antique Gold Pearl Card and then onto a Black Card Blank.

I cut Sue's Scripted Thank You out of Antique Gold Pearl Card and added it to my card.

I'm running my last workshop of the year locally at Yardley Gobion today. I've loaded the dates for next year's workshops at YG Village Hall to the Workshops section and the left-hand side bar of this Blog and to my website here.

Here's today's card -

For the background, I embossed a piece of Coconut White Card using the Creative Expressions Eternal Ivy Embossing Folder. I edged it with Phill Martin Cosmic Shimmer Chic Pumpkin Twinkles and put aside to dry.

I stamped the Stamps to Die For Sweet Sunflowers onto Coconut White Card using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with Wow! Golden Flame Embossing Powder. I cut it out using the largest die in Sue Wilson's Maldives Die Set and filled the tram lines in the image with Chic Pumpkin Twinkles. I put aside the dry.

I stamped the sentiment from Phill Martin's Butterfly Elegance Sentiments Stamp Set onto Coconut White Card using Jet Black Archival. I cut it out using another die from the Maldives Set. I added it to the image die cut once the Twinkles were dry using 3D Foam.

I cut all 6 dies in Sue's Striped Nastutium Die Set out of Coconut White Card. I added Clear Perfect Medium to all of the open flowers and embossed them with Wow! Golden Flame Embossing Powder. I assembled the flowers and added a Small Black Circle Dazzler to the centres. I cut some leaves out of Black Card using Sue's Olive Branch Die Set.

I assembled the card as shown adding a 5mm Black Pearl to each corner and piercing around the edges using my Tim Holtz Ruler, Precision Probe and Piercing Mat.

Here's today's card which features some of the products that I have on the One Day Special that I'm launching on Hochanda on November 30th -

For the background, I stamped one of the leaf stamps from the Stamps to Die For Zentangled Leaves onto Black Card several times using Clear Perfect Medium. I added CS Gold Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. I coloured in with all 6 of the latest CS Pixie Powders - Aubergine Dream, Pale Olive, Emerald Green, Straw Yellow, Burnt Orange and Spearmint. I added a little of the powders to separate wells in a Palette and used my Water brush to add water to them and paint in sections of the leaves.

I stamped the sentiment from Phill Martin's Butterfly Elegance Sentiments Stamp Set onto Black Card and embossed with CS Gold Detail Powder. I cut it out using Sue Wilson's Pierced Flags and cut a larger die in the set out of Antique Gold Pearl Card.

For the flower, I randomly painted the Pixie Powder colours onto a piece of Black Card. I then cut 2 sizes of dies from Sue's Cape Daisy Die Set twice. I cut the centres die from the set out of Antique Gold Card. I added a Black 5mm Pearl to the centre.

I cut a 3 leaves from Sue's Swirly Leaf Trio out of Antique Gold Card.

I assembled the card as shown adding more Black Pearls to the corners and piercing around the edges using my Tim Holtz Ruler, Precision Probe and Piercing Mat.

I'm heading up to CE HQ today to run a workshop focussing on Alcohol Inks and Sue Wilson Dies. Should be a good day.

Here's today's card -

Wish you could see this in real life - much more vibrant and sparkly 'in the flesh'.

For the background, I popped the TST Leafy Mask onto a piece of Watercolour Card. I sprinkled Pixies Powders over - Pale Olive, Burnt Orange and Straw Yellow. I then spritzed with water. I removed the mask (cleaned under a tap) and put my background aside to dry. Once dry, I trimmed and matted onto Black Card.

I stamped the sentiment from Phill Martin's Butterfly Elegance Sentiments Stamp Set (my go to set at the moment - love the font Phill has used on these) onto Coconut White Card using Jet Black Archival. I cut out using Sue Wilson's Stitched Flags and cut a mat out of Black Card with a larger die from the same set. I glued the 2 die cuts together and shaped them while the glue was still wet. I added them to my background, reinforcing the centre with 3d Foam Pads. I used Phill Martin CS New Gold Twinkles to edge the flag and my background and put aside to dry (a couple of hours).

I made a flower out of White Crochet Ribbon and cut some leaves out of Black Card using Sue's Olive Branch.

I assembled the card as shown adding a 5mm White Pearl to each corner and piercing around the edges using my Tim Holtz Ruler, Precision Probe and Piercing Mat.

Here's today's card -

For the background, I embossed a piece of Coconut White Card using the Creative Expressions Climbing Vines Embossing Folder.

I stamped the Creative Expressions Sweet Sunflowers Stamps to Die For onto Coconut White Card using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed using CS Gold Detail Embossing Powder. I coloured in using CS Pixie Powders - I used Pale Olive, Straw Yellow and Burnt Orange. I tapped a little of each into separate wells in a palette and used my Waterbrush to paint the image. I cut it out using the largest die in Sue Wilson's Maldives Die Set. I stamped the sentiment from Phill Martin's Butterfly Elegance Sentiments onto Coconut White Card using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with CS Gold Detail Powder. I cut it out using another die from Sue's Maldives Set.

I wanted to continue the colouring of the stamped image to the finishing touches die cuts. I cut Sue's Cape Daisies out of Coconut White Card and also the complete leaf from one of Sue's Autumn Leaf Trio. I painted the flowers with Straw Yellow Pixie Powder, the centres of the flowers with Burnt Orange Pixie Powder and the leaves with Pale Olive Pixie Powder. I cut the corresponding open leaf from Sue's Autumn Leaf Trio out of Antique Gold Pearl Card. I assembled the flowers and leaves as shown and added a couple of Gold Dazzlers.

I assembled the card as shown adding a 5mm White Pearl to each corner and piercing around the edges using my Tim Holtz Ruler, Precision Probe and Piercing Mat.

You're the Best

Thank you for your kind wishes for my Mom. My Dad fetched her home yesterday. She's much better than I expected and the doctors are hopeful that she'll be back to normal in a few weeks.

I spent yesterday catching up with all the website orders and all outstanding orders will be posted this morning.

Here's today's card -

I started by spreading some CS Phill Martin Chic Magenta Sparkle Texture Paste through the Spirelli Mask onto Black Gloss Card. I put it aside to dry (approx 2 hours). I cut a frame out of Black Card using Sue Wilson's Double Pierced Circles. I added to my STP background, once dry, using 3D Foam, trimming away the excess using scissors.

I embossed a piece of Coconut White using the Creative Expressions Jacobean Floral Embossing Folder. and added some White Pearl Corners.

I stamped the sentiment from Phill Martin's Butterfly Elegance Sentiments onto Coconut White Card using Jet Black Archival. I cut it out using Sue's Madeleine Die Set. I used the same die set to cut a black mat and a decorative white mat.

I covered a piece of Coconut White Card with CS Dark Cherry Gilding Polish. I cut solid flowers from it using Sue's Striped Nasturtium Die Set. I cut the open flowers from the set out of Black Card. I glued the flowers together in the centres only and added an 8mm White Pearl to the centres. I cut some leaves out of Coconut White Card using Sue's Olive Branch Die Set.

I assembled the card as shown piercing around the edges using my Tim Holtz Ruler, Precision Probe and Piercing Mat.
