Birthdays

Hi Bloggers.

Here's today's card -

For the background, I ran a piece of Coconut White Card through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Velvet Tea Lights Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design.

I stamped the Justrite Stitched Frame Background onto Black Card using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder.

I stamped the sentiment from the Justrite Birthday Floral Vintage Labels 8 & 9 Clear Stamp Set onto Coconut White Card using Jet Black Archival. I cut it out using Justrite Vintage Labels 8.

I stamped the flower from the same stamp set using Jet Black Archival onto an offset cut from my Cricut Explore.

I assembled the card as shown adding some Black Pearls to the corners and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Black Pearl PVA around the edges.

Birthdays Sneak Peek

Hi Bloggers.

I thought I'd start sharing some cards from Sunday's Toolshed on Create & Craft. It's a bit early but I have more shows next Tuesday so I thought I would start today. Today's card features the Couture Creations Fancy Frame Die which was on John's shows last week.

The background is a piece of Coconut White Card run through the Grand Calibur with the new Couture Creations Dandelion Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design. I ran some Cosmic Shimmer Dries Clear Glue around the edges and dipped them into Cosmic Shimmer Diamond Sprinkles. I put aside to dry.

I cut the Couture Creations Fancy Frame out of Black Card.

I stamped the sentiment from the Justrite Birthday Florals Vintage Labels 8 & 9 Clear Stamp Set using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Justrite Vintage Labels 7 Dies. I ran some CS Dries Clear Glue around the edges and dipped into Diamond Sprinkles. I put aside to dry.

I cut the Justrite Offset SVG file a couple of times using my Cricut Explore. I stamped the flowers from the Justrite Birthday Florals Vintage Labels 8 & 9 Clear Stamp Set using Jet Black Archival.

Once the glue with the Diamond Sprinkles were dry, I assembled the card as shown adding some Small Black Circle Dazzlers to the corners and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Black Pearl PVA around the edges.

I have some auctions of card samples ending this evening on ebay. Raising funds for Help for Heroes this time. I also added some packs last night which will end next week. Please click on the ebay link in the top menu of this blog to go and have a look.

Thanks for stopping by.

You are a Treasured Friend

Hi Bloggers.

A small-ish card today -

For the background, I ran a piece of Coconut White Card through the Grand Calibur with the Creative Expressions Flourish Embossing Folder. I popped a little Pearl Cosmic Shimmer Shimmer Paint onto my Craft Sheet and picked some up onto a piece of Cut n Dry Foam. I rubbed it over the embossed surface. I then inked around the edges with Pink Sherbet Adirondack Dye Ink.

I masked off the flowers in the Cala Lily Trio Stamp and inked the frame up with Jet Black Archival, removed the mask, stamped and added Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I stamped the sentiment from the True Thoughts Stamp Set in the centre of the frame, again using Jet Black Archival, added Clear Powder and heat set the lot. I coloured the frame in using Pastel Pink from the Cosmic Shimmer Pastels Watercolour Set. I cut it out using Spellbinders Fancy Postage Edge and inked through the die with Pink Sherbet Ink. I cut a Spellbinders Enchanted Labels 28 die out of Pink Card.

I stamped the Anenome Planter Stamp using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Clear Powder. I cut the little flowers out, coloured them with Pastel Pink Watercolour and added a 3mm White Pearl to the centres. I cut a couple of leaves out of Coconut White Card using the Cricut Explore.

I assembled the card as shown adding some White Pearls to the corners and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Cosmic Pearl around the edges.

Sneak Peek Part 2

Hi Bloggers.

Here's today's sneak peek from tomorrow's show -

For the background, I ran a piece of Coconut White Card through the Grand Calibur with the Floral Brocade PinPoint Embossing Folder and inked around the edges with Dusty Concord Distress Ink.

I stamped the Justrite Iron Works Vintage Labels 8 Background Stamp using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Gold Detail Embossing Powder. I coloured some sections using Lapis Lavender Mica Powder from the Cosmic Shimmer Summer Shades Mica Spray Set.

I made myself some embossing powder by popping a little Cosmic Shimmer True White Detail Embossing Powder into a little bag, adding some Lapis Lavender Mica Powder and giving it a good shake.

I cut a Justrite Just Typed Offset SVG file using the Cricut Explore. I stamped the typewriter image from the Justrite Just Typed Clear Stamp Set using Perfect Medium, added my custom made embossing powder and heat set.

I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set using Perfect Medium and embossed with Gold Detail Powder. I cut it out using Justrite Antique Tags One Dies and inked through the die with Dusty Concord.

I pressed 4 Victorian Metal Corners into Perfect Medium, added my custom made embossing powder and heat set. I applied some CS Dries Clear Glue to the corners, left for a few minutes to become tacky and then added to the corners of my background.

I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Olympic Gold around the edges.

Sneak Peek

Hi Bloggers.

As promised, here's an early sneak peek from Sunday's show -

I've made cards with this bundle using 3, 5 and 7 pieces for a bit of variety - I'll be sharing them all in due course.

For the background, I stamped the Justrite Basket Weave Background onto Coconut White Card using Perfect Medium. I stamped it a second time and then dusted over the surface with Marine Aqua Mica Powder from the Cosmic Shimmer Luscious Greens Mica Spray Set. I rubbed away the excess mica using a dry wetwipe.

I used the Justrite Floral Fan Elements Offset SVG file and cut 2 borders out of Periwinkle Card using the Cricut Explore. I stamped the border from the Justrite Floral Fan Elements Clear Stamp Set onto each using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Gold Detail Powder (it's easier to line up if you take the card to the stamp).

I stamped the fan design from the same stamp set, again using Perfect Medium. I added Gold Detail Powder but did not heat set yet. I stamped the sentiment, again from the same stamp set, within the panel in the fan design, added Gold Powder and heat set the lot. I cut it out using Justrite Vintage Fan Dies. I did this twice more.

I tied a bow using Blue/White Striped Grosgrain and added a Vintage Metal Button.

I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Olympic Gold around the edges.

I'll be back with another sneak peek tomorrow.
