Here's today's card -

For the background, I simply ran a piece of Coconut White Card through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Jazmyne Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design.I popped some Black Pearls in each corner.

I stamped the flower image from the Justrite Black-Eyed Susan Vintage Labels Five Clear Stamp Set onto some Black Card using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer True White Detail Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Card Creator Distressed Edges. I coloured in using Angel Red, Angel Blue Sparkle and Lilac Gold Sparkle from the Cosmic Shimmer Lovely Lights Sparkle Pigments Set, Olympic Gold from the Cosmic Shimmer Autumn Sunset Watercolour Set and Jade Teal from the Cosmic Shimmer Luscious Greens Watercolour Set.

I stamped some of the flower heads onto Black Card using Perfect Medium and embossed with CS True White Detail Powder. I coloured them in using Angel Red from the Sparkle Pigments Set and Olympic Gold from the Autumn Sunset Watercolour set.

I stamped the sentiment from the Justrite Vintage Floral Labels Stamp Set onto Black Card using Perfect Medium and embossed with True White Detail Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Fancy Framed Tags Two.

I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in White around the edges.

Flowers Leave Some of Their Fragrance

Here's today's card -

Another really easy card to construct. For the background I stamped the Justrite Sweet Lace Background twice onto some Milk Card using Dried Marigold Distress Ink. My join wasn't brilliant on this one but not too obvious. I went around the very edge with some Denim Adirondack Dye Ink.

The sentiment is from the Creative Expressions Garden Sayings Stamp Set. I stamped it using Cobalt Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Resplendent Rectangles and inked through the die with Dried Marigold. I cut a mat out of Apricot Card using the same die set.

I stamped the Heartfelt Creations Sunkissed Fleur Stamp onto some Foundations Floral Dream Paper using Cobalt Archival and embossed with Clear Powder. I cut the flowers out using the Sunkissed Fleur Die. I selected 3 flowers and shaped them. I did a Sue Wilson thing and mixed some Sunset Orange and Snowcap Mixative with some Large Glass Micro Beads. Once they were dry, I popped some Cosmic Shimmer Dried Clear Glue in the centre of each flower and added some coloured Micro Beads.

I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Summer Blue around the edges.

MK Cadiac Group Craft Day

Hi,

Milton Keynes Cardiac Group are having a Craft Day this Saturday 10am till 4pm. If you're in the area, it would be great to see you there.

For a small charge you can have a go at lots of Make & Takes in a variety of crafts. There's some yummy cakes at the refreshment stall too.

I'm be running a simple Make & Take using Wild Rose Studio stamps and promarkers.
