Hi Bloggers.
Phew! What a busy One Day Special that was! Glad you loved the stamps and other goodies as much as I do. Busy day today - catching up with orders and then I have to drive up to the West Midlands to take my Dad to the hospital for tests early tomorrow morning. It's just a routine test, nothing to worry about.
Here's today's card -
For the background, I dusted a piece of Coconut White Card with an Anti-Static Bag. I inked up the Gone to Pieces Mask with Clear Perfect Medium. I popped it, inked side up onto my Spellbinders Platinum Machine, added the card (dusted side down) and ran through the machine with the embossing sandwich. The ink transferrred to the deboss pattern. I added CS Crushed Grape Brillant Sparkle Embossing Powder and heat set using a Low Speed Heat Tool. I trimmed it, matted it onto Black and then Coconut White Card.
I stamped the little shoes from the Woodware Toddler Shoes Stamp Set onto the plain side of a paper from Phill Martin's Timeless Paper Pad using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with CS Black Detail Embossing Powder. I painted with Seedless Preserves Distress Crayon from Set 2 - I scribbled some onto my Craft Sheet and picked up with a Water Brush. For the darker shades, I added a little CS Midnight Sky Pixie Powder to the Crayon, for the lighter shades, I added a little White Pearl Pixie Powder to the Crayon. I cut the shoes out using scissors. I added Quickie Glue Pen to the lace on the shoes and when clear, I added CS Sparkle Star Polished Silk Glitter.
I cut an oval out of Coconut White Card using Sue Wilson's Double Pierced Ovals. At the emboss stage, I added the Boomerang Mask and then inked through the die with Decadent Grape CS Colour Cloud using a Smoothie. I cut a mat out of Black Card using Sue's Double Pierced Ovals Set B.
I stamped the sentiment from the same set onto Coconut White Card using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with CS Black Detail Embossing Powder. I cut out using Sue's Double Pierced Squares Set B and inked through the die with Decadent Grape Colour Cloud. I cut a Black mat using Sue's Double Pierced Squares.
I cut a couple of little animals out of the Timeless Paper using Sue's Stuffed Animals Die Set.
I finished my card off by adding a 5mm White Pearl to each corner.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.

Sweet Baby
Hi Bloggers.
Here's today's card -
For the woven background, I started by cutting Sue Wilson's Classic Weaving Die out of Coconut White Card and then embossed it using Couture Creations Velvet Tea Lights Embossing Folder. I cut Sue's Striped Weaving Die out of Aqua Card twice. I glued the 2 striped die cuts together, offsetting them to fill in the gaps. I cut these strips into sets of 2 and 3. For my weave, I wove a set of 3 strips through the Classic die cut under 1, over 1, under 1, over 1 and so on. Then using a set of 2 strips I wove over 1, under 1, over 1, under 1 and so on. I repeated these 2 rows until my piece was complete.
I made a frame using dies #2 and #4 from Sue's Scalloped Lattice Frames Set B. I added it to my background using 3D Foam and trimmed away the excess using scissors. I added a piece of Coconut White Card cut using die #5 from the same set, and mats of Aqua and Coconut White Card.
I cut die #4 from the Sue's Madeleine Die Set out of Coconut White Card. I cut dies #3 and #4 from the same set out Aqua Card. I cut the sentiment from Sue's Baby Onesie Die Set out of Coconut White Card.
I cut Sue's Star Flower Cluster out of Coconut White and Aqua Card and added 3mm White Pearls to the centre of the flowers. I cut the stork and bundle from Sue's Stork and Baby Die Set out of Aqua Card.
I completed my card by adding some 3mm White Pearls to my sentiment disc and a 5mm White Pearl to each corner of my frame.

Only the Best
Hi Bloggers.
Here's today's card -
I started by stamping the image from the Justrite We're Having a Baby Stamp Set onto Milk Card using Watering Can Archival. I coloured it in using Brushed Corduroy and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Markers, pulling the colour out on the bear using a Water Brush. I cut it out using a Justrite Vintage Labels 9 Die and inked through the die with Scattered Straw Distress Ink using a Smoothie. I added a little CS Frosty Dawn Diamond Frost to the balloons using a Quickie Glue Pen.
I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set, again using Watering Can Archival. I cut it out using a die from the Justrite Stitched A2 Banners & Rectangles Die Set and inked through the die with Scattered Straw.
I cut the smallest rectangle die from the Stitched A2 Banners & Rectangles Die Set out of Primrose Card. At the emboss stage, I added the Circuit Board Mask. I cut the largest rectangle die out of Milk Card.
I tied a bow using 2 lengths of Antique White Satin Ribbon and added a Gold Dazzler.
One of the comments yesterday asked how many paper pads I have used - well, I'm not even half way through the Wild Rose or the English Garden Paper Pads. They really do go a long way!
Poor Phill suffered a really bad migraine yesterday and was unable to do his last 2 shows of his One day Special. Hopefully, he will be able to get some rest and shake it off before going to Ally Pally tomorrow afternoon. Fingers crossed!
Thanks for stopping by.

Sneak Peak No. 2
Hi Bloggers.
I keep forgetting to re-draw the giveaway for the 1100 followers candy as the last winner did not claim their prize either. Rather than go on doing a draw, I'll give the prize at random to someone who leaves a comment on this post. I'll draw a winner lunchime on Monday (9th). So, leave a comment below (nice ones please!) to be in the chance to win.
For whoever it was that asked, yes Ally Pally is going ahead in April and September as usual next year.
As promised, here's another sneak peak from the shows tomorrow -
Something a bit different from me. I nearly always do cards but I was given this plaque and just fancied doing it up for a baby girl.
The plaque is from a company called Pronty and Hels has been demonstrating their products on Create & Craft recently.
I started by covering the surface with Victorian Velvet Distress Paint. Once that was dry I went over the top with Pastel Pink Watercolour from the Cosmic Shimmer Pastels Watercolour Set. I added some Pink Taffeta Stickles to the edges and put aside to dry.
I stamped the stork from the Justrite Special Delivery Clear Stamp Set and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I coloured in using Cosmic Shimmer Cosmic Tone Matt Drawing Ink from the Skin Tones Set, Weathered Wood and Wild Honey Distress Markers and Cosmic Shimmer Pastel Pink Watercolour Paint. I cut it out using Spellbinders Labels 4 and inked through the die with Victorian Velvet Distress Ink.
I stamped the little booties from the same stamp set using Victorian Velvet Distress Ink and cut them out.
I stamped the Girl Banner from the same stamp set using Victorian Velvet and cut it out.
I tied a bow using Rose Satin Edged Organza and added a Pink Dazzler.
Job Done!
